My apartment is situated within The Quartermile area, in the heart of Edinburgh next to the beautiful Meadows and the University. It is on the second floor, with lift access. There is a secure underground parking space.
The apartment has 2 double bedrooms and 2 contemporary bathrooms, one ensuite. The kitchen is fully equipped, and opens out to the living area. All utilities are included, including unlimited broadband.
Please note, there is a minimum stay of 1 week during August.
I bought this apartment in December 2016. It is part of the Quartermile development, which is a cosmopolitan mix of luxury apartments, vibrant cafes and businesses. It was previously the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, and is now a mixture of cutting edge modern apartments and remodeled victorian buildings. It was master-planned by Foster and Partners. My apartment is within one of the original Victoriana buildings. The location is fabulous, as you are within walking distance of so much of what the city has to offer.
Within yards of the entrance, there is the excellent Peters Yard coffee shop and the Soderberg Bakery, which bakes the best sourdough in town. There is a Sainsbury's supermarket 50 yards away. There are countless good restaurants, bars and tourist attractions within walking distance.
There is a Pure Gym within approximately 100 meters. This has daily, weekly or monthly membership and is open 24 hours a day.
