Seascapes is the perfect bolt hole for two, ideally positioned to access the coastal cliff paths, yet still within walking distance to pub!!


You have three of the sought after qualities holiday makers require from a Cornish getaway....stunning sea views, patio area to sit and enjoy the views (with a glass of fizz) and a parking space right outside your front door.

This spacious ground floor property is easily located as you enter the village, pull up outside the front door. Entry is into the open plan kitchen/ lounge/diner with patio doors opening out to the outside space with garden in front and the beautiful sea view.

The lounge is equipped with a smart TV, books and games for your enjoyment. The kitchen is well equipped with a side room for useful walking equipment or outside wear.

The bedroom is located off the living area. The bedroom has large fitted wardrobes with the bed positioned so you can sit up with your morning paper and enjoy the sea view. Bed linen and Towels are included. Next to the bedroom there is shower room, with corner shower, WC, basin and towel rail.

Seascapes is within walking distance of the village where there is a well stocked village store, two pubs, a bakery, tearooms and Post Office. Also beside the quay is a working boat yard and the passenger ferry taking you across to Fowey where there are more shops and restaurants.

Wifi is available and central heating. There is an electric oven and hob for cooking.

The lower floor is all yours. The owners live in the main house above the apartment. There is a garage by the parking area, however this is not included with the house.


There is a key safe at the property, the key code will be sent out when your booking is confirmed.

We are based right in the heart of the village if you have any questions during your stay. Our office is open Monday - Saturday 9:30am - 5:30pm ish (ferry dependent). You are more then welcome to pop in throughout your stay. Any questions you may have we are more then happy to answer... we will get the kettle on!


We would like to point that the cottage like many cottages in the area are traditional Cornish cottages and while they display wonderful charm and character, they can also suffer from dampness due to the coastal climate. This will benefit greatly from the having a window left open a fraction to create some ventilation.

Area - The village is situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village is difficult. Please give us a call to discuss your selection particularly if your party includes elderly or anyone who would have difficulty breathing. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages are accessed via steps some of which can be steep which could also be difficult for elderly or younger children and anyone in a wheelchair. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars. As the cottage is in the middle of a seaside village and the cottage is located so close to the beach there is of course noise from the seagulls throughout the day. As Polruan is a working village with a working boat yard, there could be a small amount of traffic noise from fore street as it is the main access road into Polruan.

Accommodation will be prepared according to the number of persons booked, as reserved prior to your stay, if you are expecting guests please inform the office. Properties are not allowed to sleep more than the stated number of persons on the listing.

This is a wonderful place to stay! It's a great base to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall, especially being within easy reach of the car and pedestrian ferries to Fowey which provide a quick journey to the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Helligan, and of course Fowey itself which is definitely worth visiting. It's also within walking distance from some stunning beaches and views, most notably Lantic Bay which is beautiful. The apartment was very clean, decorated very well, and comfortable with some lovely features - including a Smart TV, tea and coffee provided, a small extra room off the kitchen perfect for storing suitcases, easy parking and a very comfortable bed. The view is as beautiful as it looks, with a nice patio to sit out on and watch the boats, and only a very quiet road between the apartment and the fields and cliffs. I would highly recommend staying here and we hope to return soon!

This place is lovely. Great views. Nice size for 2 people. Nice complementary biscuits on arrival. Remember to bring tea bags and coffee! But there was a small milk in the fridge. Maybe remember toilet roll as well as I think we only had half a roll on arrival. We woke up to the sound of a child playing and singing / screaming a couple of mornings as the main house was occupied (upstairs). The water system is on a pump so a bit noisy and the bathroom is a tad small but I didnt mind that too much. Polruan is a charming place. Bit of a steep walk down to the quay but nice views and at least one decent pub. We mainly travelled around Cornwall from Polruan as a base which worked out well. 20 mins drive or so to Polperro and Looe. We went down to Land's End which was more like 1hr 40 from there. I would definitely recommend staying here. The host was good at communication too.

Hello, I'm Abigail I work along side my mother Jane, at Polruan Cottages a small Family run Holiday letting agency based in the village of Polruan, Cornwall. A small unspoilt village surrounded by water on three sides. I could not live without handbags, good food, books, the odd glass of good wine or my car....There are a lot of hills in Cornwall and plenty of beautiful coastline to discover.
