The cottage in our garden is recently refurbished and has a comfortable queen size (extra length) bed, a well-equipped kitchen, with coffee and tea, a dining table & chairs, a bathroom with shower, and wifi. You can also use our pool, garden and covered parking. The cottage is in a quiet area and a central location, close to airport, malls and city center.
The cottage has a new, comfortable queen size - extra length - bed, a drawer and hangers for clothes, a table and chairs, a kitchen with stove, fridge (with small freezer), kettle, coffee & tea, cooking condiments, and all necessary kitchen utensils. The bathroom, which is private but has a separate entrance next to the cottage entrance, has a shower, toilet and sink, with soap, towels and shampoo. The cottage is next to the seating area and pool that you will share with us. You can use the washing machine in the laundry room. We have covered parking for your car. The wifi is free and capped, but sufficient.
You will have your own room with bed, kitchen and sitting area, and your own bathroom, and you can also use our garden, pool, outdoor seating area and washing machine.
We live in the house next door, so you will see and hear us. We enjoy the company of people, so we are open to having a chat and we are very willing in helping you with whatever you need.
- Because the cottage is next to our house, we expect you to not make a lot of noise and respect quiet hours at night.
- We have a strict no smoking policy: no smoking anywhere on the premises, not inside or outside.
- The wifi is capped, which means you cannot download large files or binge watch on series. You can use it for email, looking up info, or watching an episode or two of an online series.

I love traveling and interacting with people, and share (travel) stories. I love both city life and nature. I love hiking, swimming, going out for dinner, having a braai & wine with friends, and the warm sun. I have a lot of experience as a low budget backpacker, but now I'm a bit of luxury backpacker. I've lived in Amsterdam for 9 years before I moved to Johannesburg last year. I'm a full-time student at the moment, while my husband works full-time. I've lived, worked and studied abroad and traveled to many countries and all continents.
