Our home is a blend of bohemian and berber styles that compliment traditional Sidi Bou Said decor.
We newly renovated all fixtures and amenities in 2016, but we retained the original tiling to ensure a feeling of historical continuity from the time when our apartment was a wing of the Beylical palace. A winding staircase leads you from the office and kitchen up to the two bedrooms on either side of the flat, and finally to a spacious salon that opens onto the terrace garden. The outdoor space boasts a 180 degree view of the Marsa & Sidi Bou beaches from atop the hill of the old city. It's perfect for watching the sunset, reading during the day, or drinking a morning coffee.
Our guests have access to nearly the whole space, which includes a kitchen, office, bedroom, three bathrooms, salon, and terrace.
We are more than happy to 'go with the flow' of your ideal stay. If you'd like us to show you around and introduce you to some local sites, sounds, and folks, we'd be more than happy to. If not, we're perfectly fine with leaving you be to work, study, or explore, too.
Please note that on weekends, especially during the summer, the parking lot sometimes fills up, in which case you will be redirected to a lot a considerable walk away. If you are driving, please let us know in advance so that we can provide you with a guest parking badge in order to permit you to park within the old city. Thanks!
- Respectful levels of noise after 11pm on weekdays, 1am on weekends, as per local bylaws. Smoking in outdoor spaces only, please. Otherwise, our house is your house!
