Barney Cottage is a lovely property sleeping 8 within about 200yds of the Quay, Ferry, little beach and our two village pubs.
Recently totally refurbished to a high standard, Barney Cottage has a cosy lounge with original slate floors and glass fronted multi fuel fire, with a set of stairs leading to the first and second floors at the front of the house.
From the lounge is a spacious, well equipped, farmhouse style kitchen/diner, complete with Everhot Oven (Electric AGA). Off the kitchen is the family bathroom, and also a hallway leading to the garden. In the hallway is a second staircase, under which is housed the washing machine and tumble dryer.
Sleeping 8 with all bed linen and fluffy white towels supplied. At the front of the house, there is a twin bedroom on the first floor, through which is accessed a master bedroom (with ensuite) on the second floor, and at the back of the house, accessed by the second set of stairs, is an adult bunk room and pretty double bedroom overlook the garden to the rear.
Outside at the top of the garden is a new decked area with table and chairs and a lovely view of the Fowey River.
Unloading is directly outside the property with the possibility of good value private local parking arrangement (ask when booking).
Sleeps 8. 2 Double, 1 Twin, 1 Bunk room. Bed Linen & towels supplied. Everhot Electric Cooker, TV/DVD, Fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and a real fire in the lounge. A highchair is also available. No pets permitted. New efficient electric heating.

However there is a locked cupboard in the Bunk room which is for the housekeepers use only.
We like to give our guests space during there stay, we are available when needed as we are based right in the heart of the village. Our office is open 9:30 - 5:30 ish (ferry dependent). You are more then welcome to pop in throughout your stay. Any questions you may have we are more then happy to answer... we will get the kettle on!
Barney Cottages has an arrangement with a local gentleman about parking, his number is given out upon booking to book your space. It is on a first come first serve. He charges half the amount of the main car park.
If he is fully booked..
3 car parks in Polruan. The Quay carpark and the main St Saviours car park would be the 2 closest to the cottage about a 5 minute walk away. Both car parks are £25.00 for a weekly ticket or £5.00 per day. Sadly you cannot pre book any spaces.
Higher up in the village there is a free car park roughly about a 15-20 minute walk from your cottage, which if you weren’t planning on using your car much, it could be a suitable option.
