My place is close to all the amenities of Leeds, the universities, the parks and generous grounds of the property, the property is close to, restaurants and dining, art and culture as well as the countryside with good access to the Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate. You’ll love my place because of the 'country in the city' feel with its cosy log burner, private garden, good off street parking and the feel of the house and gardens particularly the rose beds on the drive up past the main house.
The Coach House faces west so if you are lucky enough to have a sunny evening you will no doubt use the patio furnature to enjoy a glass of wine as the sun goes down. In the event its not so nice you will be equally well provided for sat inside round the large log burner.
With an open plan kitchen living area and seating round the dining table for 6 meals with family or friends will be relaxing. Should you be attending a wedding or event there are two rooms in the main house that can be rented individually, in addition, giving accommodation for 10 people in total.
As the Coach House is to the rear of Albert House its really quiet not near any roads. Should you want to bring a dog thats not a problem just count it in your numbers as a person then I make sure the cleaner has extra time to ensure the place is immaculate for the next guest.
At the start of July 17 the bedrooms are getting re-dorecorated and new white company bed linen as well as a replacement sofa and new BBQ so the place will be even nicer!
You get to use the whole Coach House and two parking spaces, you would also be welcome to use and wander the gardens of the main house. There are some lovely spaces and I am really proud of the gardens.
As I live in the main house I can be on hand if you need any advice or guidance, I can recommend places to eat, drink, walk etc as well as taxi companies etc if needed.
- 2 parking spaces on site, street parking for additional cars
I'm William and I am in my early 30's and I am lucky enough to live in Albert House which is my listing. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, as well as 4 reception rooms and former staff quarters. There is a cleaner that comes three times a week and a gardner that also comes twice a week. Holly my girlfriend might be around, or check you in. She is warm, hospitable and will help you feel right at home.
I have a love of sailing and skiing, so if you are outgoing and sporty we might have a chat over a cup of tea / glass of wine.
The property is protected by CCTV and by Barley the Labrador, so you're always safe here. Albert House is an interesting place to stay, all the rooms are individually decorated and there is always somewhere you can escape to if you want a bit of quiet time. In the summer the gardens are stunning.
I have mainly joined to meet interesting people and share my house with people who will appreciate it.
