The apartment is just a short walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station, but is just outside the historical center. Guests will find many shops, bars, and restaurants just outside their front door and the main cultural attractions in the historical centre of Florence just 30 minutes by foot or an easy 5 minute tram ride away.
Modern apartment with 1 bedroom (50 m2 / 538 sq.ft.) that can accommodate up to 2 guests and has 1 bathroom with shower. As you enter you will find the living area that consists of a kitchenette (with microwave, but no traditional oven), a small sofa, a table for four and washing machine that is also a dryer. The next room is a large bedroom with a double bed (160x190 cm mattress) with flat-screen TV. Here you will also find a desk where you can use your laptop, work, or study. The last room is the modern bathroom with shower.

All clients staying up to 60 days will have to grant €1000.00 as deposit. For rentals over 60 days special conditions apply.
The apartment is located just outside the main historical centre of Florence within the area called Porta al Prato. This area of Florence is a 20-30 minute walk or a 5 minute tram or bus journey to the main cultural attractions such as the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo, the Bargello Museum, Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio. The Porta al Prato area is mainly residential so there is a variety of grocery stores, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and cafes. In the area you will also find the Porta al Prato railway station (hourly train links to Empoli), the “Stazione Leopolda”, Florence’s former railway station which has been converted into a vibrant exhibition hall used for events such as craft fairs, television and fashion shows and also cultural and business meetings. The Parco delle Cascine, Florence’s largest public park popular with walkers, joggers, horse riders and families, is just 5 minutes away by foot.
The Florence city center is a ZTL zone which means a limited traffic zone and therefore special rules apply to entering this area. This particular apartment is not located within the ZTL which is an advantage, meaning that driving to the apartment and parking nearby is fairly easy. Nearby the apartment you will find adequate on street parking, which you will pay for between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm approx. When seeking on-street parking please note that you must only park in blue lined bays as the white lined bays are for resident permit use only. Parking costs vary within the city with the highest charges being found towards the centre of Florence. If you prefer, you can park in a private garage or choose one of the several car parks (usually underground).
This property for rent is not a hotel, agritourism, B&B or similar, and therefore by law, extra services similar to those you may find in these types of accommodations, such as a reception, concierge or security, receiving mail, provision of meals and drinks, cleaning and change of linen during your stay, and amenity kits with soaps etc. are strictly prohibited.
