The Old Stables were built around 1850 and entirely refurbished in 2017.
The detached property sits in the garden of our house and is now a stylish, modern and comfortable one bed apartment with its own entrance and off-street parking.
The first floor open plan kitchen-diner-sitting room leads to a cosy double bedroom with 100% cotton sheets. There is wifi and a TV.
The historic centre of the city of Bath is just 2 miles away with frequent buses from right outside the house.
The Old Stables is perfect for a couple seeking independence and privacy. The accommodation is on two floors and entirely detached from the main house so that guests are able to come and go as they please.
The bedroom has views over Odd Down fields and beyond, a comfortable wooden frame double bed, white cotton sheets, bed-side tables and lamps, a small wardrobe and a full length mirror.
Fresh towels are supplied in the newly fitted shower room.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven, a double induction hob, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster as well as the necessary glasses, cutlery and crockery.
Guests should note that although it has been completely refurbished, the Old Stables is an old (over 160 years old) and characterful building. As a consequence the ground floor shower room has quite a low ceiling. Total clearance standing in the shower itself is 6'1" or 186cm. In other areas headroom is not an issue.
