Sunny SW Utah home. Private bedroom with 2 twin beds and adjoining bathroom. My place is one level (with no front step) and great for two travelers/hikers/tourists to rest up for their next day. Due to higher tax classification (self-employed if providing a hot meal), no hot breakfast will be provided starting in July, just coffee, tea or juice & bagels. Come enjoy southern Utah's great outdoors and my air conditioning. 29 miles from Zion National Park as the crow flies.
I live in my home and rent out my guest bedroom & its adjoining bath. Close to St. George, to Hurricane's Quail Creek and Sand Hollow, to Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and Kanab, my home is also just 45 minutes from Cedar City's summertime Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival.
My guests are welcome to bring in foods and to use my living/dining/kitchen area. Feel free to relax on the covered patio, while respecting my quiet neighborhood. Favorites nearby are St. Helen's scones, Riggatti's pizza, and Benja's Thai and Sushi.
I welcome my guests on arrival late afternoon or early evening. I am here to send them off on their adventures in the morning.
My neighborhood has very short driveways, so it is best to park your vehicle on the street near my rose bushes.
- Use parking space on street by my front yard. Quiet hours: 11 - 7.

A recently retired nurse, I loved caring for hospice patients and their families. My current avocation is writing. In my early adulthood, I lived one year in the Netherlands and one year in Japan. I enjoy traveling elsewhere AND hosting travelers in southwestern Utah. I like to celebrate differences and oneness.
