Our apt (45sqm / 484qft) is in a 5 story building which has been renovated in 2017 and contains 1 bedroom which has access to a separate kitchen. A separate bathroom and toilet and entrance area are avialable as well.

Centrally located in "Gundeli", perfect for tourists to explore the city or for business people to get to any place within the city in a very short time. In a quiet street w/ nice restaurants, cafés and lots of green just few minutes away!

Wireless internet is of course included. The password is provided upon your arrival with other information about the city.

There is a TV in the apartment. You can watch numerous international channels or connect your computer to watch movies or videos with the HDMI and mini-display port connectors provided.

The apartment is fully furnished, with loads of wardrobe space, and a big 140cm bed.

The kitchen is fully equiped with everything that you need to cook. It has as well high quality equipment such as oven, microwave, coffee machine (nespresso capsuls are provided for a couple of days), kettle and a fridge and freezer.

We also have a washing machine + dryer in the kitchen which can be used as well in the apartment (you will need your own detergent).

Towels and bedsheets are included.

We will welcome you and hand-over the keys; in case we will be traveling, our cleaning "angel" will do the same.

If you have any questions, we are always available via telephone or email, and we get back to you in a matter of hours (we try to respond as fast as possible...)!

The area offers good connection with lots of shops, bars and nice restaurants, all reachable by foot; we can provide you with list of the best places to eat and/or have a drink, please just ask (or check the guidebook in our profile).

The area is very quite as you are located on the top floor, with a few cars and trams passing by; it's also very safe.

The airport is conveniently and fast reachable: 5-7 minutes walk to the trainstation bahnhof SBB where outside the bus to the airport is located (number 50 and you can use the mobility ticket and get to the airport for free). From there the bus takes you within 15 minutes to the airport.

Really, you couldn't find a place strategically better positioned in Basel!

When booking please let us know your arrival and departure times including full names and nationalities, so that we can organize it accordingly.

Check-in is after 17:00 and check-out is before 11:00 am but we are flexible according to the availability (if there is no other guest coming you can stay until the afternoon and arrive in the morning). So let us know beforehand in order for us to check and confirm to you.

You will have access to knowledge about the city which is not written in tourist guides and you can get hints and tips for the best places to go.


Tourist tax is already included in our price (thats why we have an additional per guest fee of CHF 5 included in our pricing)

The best thing about it: it contains a free public transport card for the area of Basel. If you arrive at Basel airport you can use the booking confirmation as a temporary "tourist ticket" and in case of a control you can let the controllers know that you will get your mobility ticket upon arrival at our place.

Cédric and Roger's place is very professionally managed, and they were generously able to accommodate an early checkin. The apartment is tastefully furnished and located in very convenient proximity to the main train station (and local transit hub), and indeed much of the city is within a 15 minute walk anyway. The proximity to a tram line can make for noisy nights if you choose to leave the windows open as I did on account of the heat, but earplugs are thoughtfully provided.

The bad: proper bed pillow(s) were missing The awesome: New everything, including clothes washing and drying machine!!!!!!!!! Convenient location right besides the train station but you do not hear any train traffic.

Very clean, extremely convenient and well-located. Brigitte was very kind and helpful - a great concierge! Bed and kitchen are even nicer than expected. Efficient and pleasant communication with both the hosts and concierge.

Wir haben uns in der sehr zentral gelegenen Wohnung von Cedric sehr wohl gefühlt. Brigitte war problemlos zu kontaktieren und hat uns auch in die Handhabung des Baseltickets und der Parkmöglichkeiten eingewiesen. Die Wohnung ist für 2 Personen super eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Küche voll benutzbar, der Supermarkt ca 200 m entfernt. Direkt vor dem Haus fahren die Straßenbahnen im 10 Minutentakt. Wer lärmempfindlich ist, den kann das stören. Dagegen liegen aber bereits die Ohrstöpsel auf dem Nachttischchen. Für Basel eine tolle Wohnung. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

A cupboard to hide the broom from our baby would have been useful, but most people probably won't be staying with inquisitive babies! :)
