Fort Firefly is a quiet North Austin oasis amongst the suburban sprawl. Nestled on a greenbelt at the end of a cul-de-sac less than a mile from the Mopac Corridor, our half acre hideaway doesn't have a "city" feeling at all.
Additional amenities include a DVD collection, a golf net, 2 hammocks, BBQ grill, fire pit outside, and bikes. We have both a coffee maker and a Keurig. We do have 1 cat and 1 large dog who are as friendly as can be. While they do spend most of their time inside, we keep the house very clean and tidy. They are not allowed upstairs or in the bedrooms to keep sleeping areas fur free.
Keyless entry. Guests have their own private bedroom with closet and desk, along with access to a game room with air hockey table, a living room with Blue Ray and cable TV, and a kitchen with fridge and pantry space. The backyard is great for fires, grilling, golfing, and lounging.
We are in and out of the house throughout the day, and available via text if needed.
We hope you will take advantage of all the fun activities in Austin. Fort Firefly is just 1.5 miles from the Metro rail station via bike or car. You can easily get to downtown and avoid the parking mess if you take the train. You can even take a bike on the train, just be sure to take the lock with you for when you are downtown.
- House Rules: No drugs. No unpaid guests. No shoes in the house. You make a mess, you clean it up. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. Don't leave food or drink unattended. Keep dog gates closed.
