PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE BOOKING!
30-40 min to Manhattan, including a 9 min walk to the nearest metro station: Woodhaven Blvd (R/M). Trick is to switch to express trains E/F after 3 stops at Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Ave station, which are much faster. This is a traditional American house in a residential area, different restaurants and groceries with walking distance, convenient and much cheaper than Manhattan. Very safe too you never have to worry about walking around at night.
You'll share the living room with another woman, who's on the other side of the living room. This bed is ONLY for those who are out during the day, and who walk and close doors gently. Don't book if you plan to sleep before 11 pm, as the area is usually used till around midnight. This is a public space so you'll hear noise from others as well as the street, it's not quiet and private as a room. Please keep that in mind that this is not for light sleepers.
Please search how to get here by yourself instead of asking me, I can only give you the info from internet.
All guest MUST wear SLIPPERS instead of walking barefoot at home, footsteps can be quite heavy and I have a roommate downstairs. Don't book if you don't plan to wear slippers.
Keep quiet between 11pm and 10am, especially when you close the doors, put down the toilet seat, or have your alarm on.
No heavy cooking allowed, and you MUST wash everything with 24 hours, dump the food residue in the trash can, NOT into the sink!
Don't leave food out, they might attract mice or ants.
Please keep in mind that this is not a hotel, you're in someone's home and need to respect the house rules. All the negative reviews are by people who didn't read the listing description and who didn't respect the house rules, I love accommodating people but don't need guests like those.
