This is a spacious, converted pub which is full of character. Five bedrooms, plus extra sleeping space downstairs if required. Two reception rooms, large family kitchen, orangery with dining table and a bar! Located in the beautiful Culm valley with lovely walks from the doorstep, also close to the city of Exeter (10 mins), Dartmoor (40 mins) and many beaches (including Exmouth 25 mins).
Guests will have access to the whole house. Downstairs there is a large and well-equipped kitchen with electric, double oven and gas hob. A playroom with sofa-bed (if needed) and table for working/playing at and a darts board. There is a downstairs toilet and sink. The main living room is large and comfortably seats eight. It has a 64" flatscreen TV with freesat television, DVD player and Wii. It also has it's own solid elm bar, fully equipped with glasses of every sort (you will have to supply your own alcohol though!). There is also a wood-burning stove. The orangery (slightly misleading name as there are no oranges in there) contains the dining table with 6 chairs (more available around the house) and a high chair. There is also a sofa there so that you can relax and enjoy the well ( covered with safety glass), pump and view of Archie the gargoyle who looks after the house.
Upstairs there are five bedrooms. Go up the stairs and to the left for:
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with ensuite containing separate bath and shower.
Bedroom two is a children's bedroom containing one single and one cot bed. There is also a travel cot available for use in any room. There is also a spare single mattress under the single bed if needed.
To the right:
There is a bedroom/study with double sofe bed and desk space for working. This is a lovely bright room.
The 'spare' room is a good-sized double room with double bed. Spare blankets and bedding are contained in this room if needed.
The 'fifth' bedroom is an internal room with light port through the roof. This also has a double bed.
There is also a small courtyard garden with table and chairs. A playhouse for younger children and a sand table. There is a fold-away washing line for drying clothes. This is shared with the lodgers who live in the studios the other side of the courtyard.

I have been an AirBnB guest twice, both times were for family gatherings and found it a great way to stay away from home with our young family.
I am new to hosting but I am sure that our beautiful old pub in Devon will make a fantastic place to stay for families or large groups. It is a great base for exploring all that Devon has to offer being close to Exeter, Dartmoor and many beautiful beaches.
A little bit about me:
