Large clean and bright, well presented B listed Alexander 'Greek' Thompson apartment, one of Glasgow's leading architects of his time. within walking distance of all the main city centre and south side hot spots. Powerful shower, wonderful linens, towels and feather pillows and quilts for the best nights sleep after a busy day about town...
Free parking and a quick 15-20 min walk into Glasgows city centre.
Not the prettiest of Glasgow's streets but the location makes up for that!

An entire 2 bedroom apartment at your disposal, within walking distance from the main city centre of glasgow, can sleep 6 comfortably...with the addition of two day beds in the front bedroom so could sleep 8 if you are close friends...and you don't all mind sharing the one bath/shower room?

There is a double room with a king sized Victorian brass bed, a large twin room, with a cherrywood French bateau bed, what we would call a scots double (slightly smaller than a double bed so could sleep two cosily!) and a double sofa bed and the front room can turn into a sleeping space for two or four, so essentially a family room or if two couples are traveling with four children it could be turned into a children's room come night. (I have a double mattress that can be used in this room too)
This front room has two day beds that can turn into single beds come the evening, (and two foldaway single beds, if needed...).
It is clean and comfortable with a fully functioning kitchen should you wish to cook. We have supplied all those extra wee staples like oil and herbs etc, with ample pots and pans that will make cooking for 6 (or even 8) a breeze should you wish to!
Ideal for a short stay.

Easy access to the hub of Glasgow's centre or to Hampden stadium for concerts only a short cab ride away and a 5 minute walk away is Carling Academy, or convienitely situated for a quick cab ride to Glasgow's HYDRO or SECC, as its situated on the main artery into the southside. Just outside the main city centre.
A few minutes walk to Bridge street or West street SubWay and a bus stop just 1 minute walk down the Road..
Super easy to hail a cab from directly outside the door. Or ask me and I'll give you the private hire company's number.

This apartment is so well situated. It is however on a main road and isn't double glazed. The front bedroom is supplied with ear plugs if you aren't used to living in the city. Although it does have beautiful wooden shutters that are far more efficient than curtains at cutting out light and sound. However PLEASE bare this in mind when booking as there isn't anything I can do regarding the apartment being on a main road and I hate to be marked down in a review for something that is well advertised in my listing. Thank you for your understanding, I appreciate it!

It's also in a very quirky multicultural part of town, on the main artery into and out of the south side and although near to all the hotspots, isn't the most attractive or touristic of locations. Please have this in mind when booking and consider it when reviewing the property as we want to be as transparent as possible

You will have the entire flat at your disposal. The kitchen has all mod cons, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc and a lovely front room to relax in of an evening or if preferred can sleep a further 4 guests! Providing two day beds that can be converted to singles come nighttime in the front room, and two fold away single beds.
Or where ever else you would like me to set up the other foldaway singles...

It's not the most glamorous part of town, sitting perched between the Gorbals and Queen's Park in what used to be quite an industrialised area of Glasgow, with several local shops across the road and an African Somalian cafe and an Asian supermarket below the flat. So it's very multicultural!
As well as a petrol station a two minute walk away and the local Star bar if you fancied a quick cheap pint with the Glasgow regulars, definitely worth a visit!
In a short journey you can be into all the southside areas that are delightful to visit and are so incredibly near by foot, public transport or taxi to the apartment.
The actual apartment is beautifully presented, with gorgeous bedding, linens and towels, toiletries and some extra bits and bobs and nibbles in the kitchen for you, all you would desire for a perfect stay at a price you can afford!

Also worth baring in mind when booking the apartment is situated on a main road out of the city centre, so there maybe some traffic noise. The windows have victorian wooden shutters on them, so this does block out the sound. The bedroom to the rear of the property and the kitchen are much quieter for guests that may be more sensitive to sound.
The flat itself is beautiful presented and shares a secured communal tenement close(entrance way) for access to and from the flat.

Wonderful apartment with character. Stephanie was a really great host who was always in contact with us even way before we arrived. She ensured we were well taken care of throughout our stay. We really appreciated the breakfast and snacks that Stephanie provided. And parking was convenient. Great place!

We had a great time in Glagow and Stephanie was a great host. She met us at check-in to give us the keys & instructions ..was super friendly. The parking is free and close by. It was centrally located. The beds were very comfortable. The couch bed was also very comfortable.

Very convenient location in a developing neighborhood . The flat itself has honest and unique character. It was so well appointed and well decorated with nearly new full kitchen . Stephanie was great and generously flexible with meeting us. I would certainly stay here again!

I am a fully qualified sports therapist, massage specialist, reflexologist and colonic hydrotherapist. All of which I can offer to our guests at an additional charge when they stay with us.
We take health and well-being quite seriously and are happy to share the use of our juicer and top tips about where to get organic veggies and good quality foods while you are here in Glasgow.
Or if given notice, pick up your shopping list prior to arrival.
We are also happy to collect or drop you off at the airport for a fee of £10. (Taxi is £15-20) please feel free to ask.

We love to take long walks with our friendly dogs and enjoy the simple things in life, things that make us smile...and a good laugh is always welcomed!

I do so enjoy the whole hosting experience and will welcome you into our home and make your stay a warm and pleasant one!


We are located very close to the city centre which makes travel around the city easy to do, and although our area isn't classed as the classiest in Glasgow, it is safe and the locals friendly!
