5 minutes walk from Jubilee line and DLR. Great room in a social/professional house share. There is breakfeast, which usually includes my fresh sourdough with cheese, ham, egg etc. on a self service basis, and of course porridge + tea + Nespresso
Towels, shampoo and basics available.
Close to Custom House Excel, London City Airport, 02, Canary Wharf, Central London (20min) There are plenty of shop and it's relatively quiet. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Newly Furnished room, with loads of space.
Use the Kitchen and the Living room as you please, we are around, but make space for each other and probably have a drink together if you fancy. Overall very laid back.
Three of us in the house, Myself, Development chef, My partner, Event Organiser, and my brother, Animator. We all work throughout the week and cook/eat/drink together in the evenings and weekends. Your welcome to join us or cook and eat in private with my fantastic pantry at your disposable. We are super social-able and help out to a great extent or give you as much space as you need if your one of those.
Having hosted guests from all over the world for the last 5 months, we are thrilled to be awarded with the Superhost status and the trust and appreciation of every single guest we have hosted. We do think there is one disclaimer to be added here though. A few of our guests have mentioned that the neighborhood doesn't have the safest feel to it (quote) It must be mentioned that Canning town is going through big developments, in construction as well as community. In term of safety, the whole of East London Police Force get their donuts at the 24h Mcdonalds across the road. There is off-licences open till late and shop keepers keep an eye on the streets. It is very safe here, but we do appreciate that it is not the most romatic image of east London either, especially if you're just flying in. Still, all of our guests who've stayed here have left with a positive image of Canning town, I believe. But it's the first impressions that we are trying to manage, hence this side note.
We rather not have any food consumed in the room. Especially no take away. There is plenty of space in the living room and your welcome to use it as you please.
I've been using Airbnb for years and recently diced to start hosting. I was periviously a host on couch surfing when I was living in Amsterdam and I loved the community meeting new people, sharing stories and ofcourse food.
I work as a Development Chef for a big retailer. Periviously ran a food truck and worked in all sorts of restaurants. I like baking my sourdough and brewing my ginger beer and taking care of my ferments which run up to a dozen at any given time.
We are a pretty quiet household and enjoy the simple things in life. Im sure you'd enjoy it here.
