Our beautiful farmhouse is set in the green and peaceful Vallée de la Course in Northern France. Guest accommodation is on the first floor of our farmhouse - there is one double bedroom, a bathroom and a landing area with a sofa bed which can accommodate a further two guests. Our bedroom is on the ground floor along with the communal kitchen, living room and dining room in which we serve breakfast. Make yourselves at home and cosy up next to our large wood burning stove.
La Ferme de Coupigny is a 'ferme au carrée' set around a grass courtyard with a large weeping willow in the middle.
The back of the farm is mainly set to pasture with a young cider apple orchard - a great place to sit by the campfire and watch the sun set.
The front of the farm was a large 'potager' which we are restoring. We also plan to raise a small flock of rare breed chickens for eggs and will be building a cob pizza oven early this spring!
We really want to share our experience here with our guests so make yourselves at home, feel free to explore and even help out if you wish.
We work some of the time but at least one of us will generally be around to talk to you about the farm, give you advice on things to do in the area and hang out should you be up for it.
Being in Northern France the weather is fairly similar to Southern England so it's worth bringing wellies and some warm/waterproof clothing.
