This was a great spot on Rue St-Denis! It's a quick walk to Old Montreal, Le Plateau, Mile-End, the Gay Village, etc. It's a quick walk to Sherbrooke station and other public transit so it's easy to get around to other places such as Jean Talon Market, Little Burgundy, and downtown. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby, so you never are out of options for things to do!
Staff was kind and accommodating as our train getting into Montreal was 45 minutes late, so we were 5 minutes away from missing our check in time! Staff waited up for us at reception and quickly set us up in our room. Staff also reacted quickly to any of our request. Housekeeping is excellent - we got fresh sets of towels everyday, they washed any drinking glasses that we forgot to clean, and kept our room clean and comfortable!
The room itself was clean, cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. Although you can hear footsteps of patrons upstairs and in the stairwell, the hotel is reasonably quiet. Although it was too cold for us to use the rooftop jacuzzi, we did step out onto the back patio to enjoy the view and a nice glass of wine. However, be warned: there are no elevators and you must climb some stairs to reach the rooms - so this may not be a good place to stay for people who have difficulty going up and down stairs. However, I would definitely come back again and I will definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Montreal!
