Welcome to Monrovia! This house is close to Old Town Monrovia, City of Hope Medical Center, and Pasadena. Enjoy the newly remodeled kitchen and family room, brand new appliances and furniture, private backyard with seating area, and a covered carport for parking. The cozy interior and open floorplan will make you feel right at home. Beat the weather with heat and A/C. And enjoy access to WiFi and cable.
This place is good for couples, business travelers, small groups and families (with kids).
The 1335 square foot home was recently purchased and partially remodeled -- most everything is brand new. The location -- about 1 mile from Old Town Monrovia -- makes it easy to get to the various restaurants, shops and pubs in Old Town (and the movie theater!).
The family room TV has Netflix, Hulu and Playstation Vue (streaming cable), as well as a guest-accessible Chromecast. WiFi is available as well.
The back yard is private and features two avocado trees alongside a gigantic California Oak. Help yourself to the avocados ;-) There's a covered patio area with a table and chairs, as well as a chimenea to keep you warm and provide light if you're sitting outside at night.
The neighborhood is generally quiet and safe.
You'll have full access to the entire house.
My family lives nearby -- we're definitely able to help as needed and are willing to chip-in to make your stay enjoyable. For example, if you need a Pack-n-Play or kids toys or something similar -- we can accommodate that sort of request. Also happy to provide any advice on things to do, places to eat, etc. in the area.
Hi - I am a husband and father of three little kids. I am self-employed in the digital marketing industry. I enjoy craft beers, good bourbon, tasty BBQ and an occasional cigar. My life is pretty much work, family ... rinse/repeat.
I've lived in Boston, San Francisco and Los Angeles and enjoy all of them for different reasons. We currently live in Monrovia, which is an awesome little city with a thriving downtown area. It's small enough that you see a lot of the same faces and big enough that folks aren't too involved in each other's business. It's a great, family-friendly place to live -- with a sufficient variety of of shops, pubs, and restaurants so that nothing ever feels stale.
