This is a 1925 Craftsman home that has stood the test of time. Settled in an older part of Salem, the house has a charm and comfort for most to enjoy. The house sits on a double lot, leaving lots of room to play and enjoy the outside on nice days. We have a front sun porch, sitting space in the back yard and a secluded lounging area with fire pit (and plenty of wood).

We love our neighbors and our neighborhood. Tree-lined streets, sidewalks, and quiet. We love how central it is to most things in Salem. And we love how central Salem is to most things in western Oregon. The neighborhood and Salem is overall very safe but cars have had things disappear when people forget to lock!

I co-host with my husband Arnaud. I'll be the communicator online, he takes care of the rest (cleaning, problem solving:). We took a pause from March 2020-October 2021 but now we are back, both of us vaccinated and boosted.

We enjoy traveling to different countries, mostly to know the people who live there. It just so happened that Christy traveled to Europe in 2015 and met Arnaud in Belgium.

We have been renting our house to commuters and friends for over 10 years (even before Airbnb) so we are very used to shared spaces/renting private rooms. When we travel (as we like to a lot), we rent out the entire house. Music and learning and relationships are other passions in life.
