My place is close to hiking in the redwoods, beaches, the magnificent Smith River. You’ll love it because because it is serene and surrounded by trees. It is also close to Highways 101 and 199 so it is an easy place to stop on the way to somewhere else. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
You are welcome to use the sitting area and disc golf baskets in the living room and outside. Newsport Improv Troupe meets in the living room from 5:30 to 8:00 on Thursday nights, we don't usually have spectators but you may be invited to join us if you would like to play! Please feel free to use the kitchen and let me know if you need to do laundry so we can coordinate the timing.
We have lived in this area for 16 years and are happy to help with directions, suggestions and stories. My partner Ron is very social and loves to meet people, I can be social and I am likely to be more quiet and private unless interaction is desired. I am always available to help or give information.

I am a practitioner of Niasziih Healing, a community theater director and actor, and a volunteer coordinator. I also homeschool my grandson. I love living near Crescent City because it's like living in vacation paradise. I adore reading, dancing, theater, music, singing, eating really good food, making medicine and healing. I am a slow-paced person generally. I am an introvert although everything I love to do involves people so I'm no hermit!
I find living to be endlessly fascinating.
