This is a modern comfortable house right on the stunning Wild Atlantic Way.
Endless diverse activities, from bird watching, surfing, kite surfing, coastal and forest walks, horse riding, cycling and more.
We are surrounded by the charming, vibrant, and historical towns of Kinsale, Clonakility, and Bandon.
For larger groups camping and related facilities can also be arranged, during the summer months.
A traditional cooked Irish breakfast can also be organized on arrival upon request.
Our space is very special due to it superb location and exceptional surrounding natural beauty, and a very comfortable modern home.
There is a huge amount of out door activities to take part in here, such as coastal and forest hiking, surfing (of which there are two local surf schools for all ages, (G town, and off shore surf school), kite surf surfing,
Horse riding (Kinsale equestrian, Kilbrittain riding school),
Long and short coastal and inland cycling, (wild Atlantic way bike hire and tours.)
Nature reserve out side your window for bird and wild life watching.
We are also lucky enough to have a sunning restaurant called the Pink elephant within walking distance just over the causeway.
Charming picturesque fishing village of Kinsale, for a afternoon, and its food capital of Ireland, status for its restaurants and cafe.
The musical and again coastal town of Clonakilty for a fun night out.
The historical and trading town of Bandon, and exceptional river fishing.
Our two closest villages,
Funky Ballinspittle, 4 km due east of us, with it award winning cafe Diva, and Lordons Butcher's, and a fun traditional local pub and restaurant, Hurley's. Ballinspittle also boasts a fun packed playground, surrounded by lush river and woodland walks, and a world class golf links on the near by, old head of Kinsale.
Kilbrittain, 3km due west of us, with it's stunning wood land walks around Kilbrittain castle, a unique display of the bones of a Fin whale unfortunately washes up on the shores out side our house.
Kilbrittain also has one of the largest diverse playgrounds in Munster.
We also run Seaweed workshops, which is an afternoon identifying edible seaweeds and taking part in a seven course seaweed cooking demo, and workshop. For more information and seaweed workshop dates which you will find on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) under wild Atlantic way products.
We are an easy going busy family, with a boy and girl twins aged 5.
The room has a double bed and a pull out bed which could accommodate a extra adult or two kids, at an additional €25 per adult, € 10 per child.
I would always be around to offer any local information that may help out.
