You have full access to all facilities including resort pool, hotel gym and BBQ area which overlooks The Esplanade.
The entrance is right next to the IGA supermarket on Aplin St. Check-in details will be sent before check in.
-EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT: Check in is from 2pm. We try to accommodate early check-in requests when possible but check-out is strictly 10am due to cleaning. We may be able to help with bag storage, just check with us a day or two before.
I or my co-host will personally show you to the room and answer any questions you may have. After that if you have any questions, you are more than welcome to text or phone and we will reply asap. We prefer all messaging only through Airbnb.
-KITCHEN/LAUNDRY: There is a small fridge and provisions for tea/coffee, but there are no kitchen or laundry facilities in the room or in the complex. There is a laundromat a block away.
-BREAKFAST: There is no breakfast provided but there are heaps of great breakfast places just downstairs.
-PARKING: There is no on-site parking available but there is heaps of free overnight on street parking til 11:30am just outside and free 24hr all day street parking less than a block away. We haven't had a guest yet who couldn't find a park.
-ANTS/INSECTS: This is a tropical area and you might find tiny ants and insects anywhere, even in high rise apartments. Your cooperation by not leaving open food or drinks will help limit their numbers
-MAIL: The building is swipe card access only and there are no mailboxes so unfortunately it is not possible to receive mail or deliveries during your stay.
-DISCOUNTS: Requests for discounts will be politely declined. We are already much cheaper compared to booking a similar room directly through the hotel.
********READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE BOOKING********
-Apartment should be treated with respect and left in a similar condition as per arrival. ALL rubbish is to be removed and placed in the rubbish shute beside the lift, including emptying ashtrays. (The cleaning fee does not include removal of your rubbish.)
-No parties or gatherings. No additional guests without prior approval or other arrivals in addition to those agreed as part of the booking.
-Maximum 2 guests - Exceeding this number of guests will be grounds for termination of your booking and you being required to vacate the property immediately without any refund of unused nights.
-SMOKING. No Smoking inside. Close the balcony door when smoking on the balcony.
-AIR CONDITIONING: Do not run the air-conditioner if the balcony doors are open.
-NOISE: Respect for all property and neighbours in terms of noise in particular between 10.00pm and 8.00 am. Any callout to address noise issues will be charged a $100 fee.
-KEYS: Loss of the swipe key will incur a $40 replacement charge.
-DAMAGE: Let me know before departure if there has been any breakages or damage to the apartment or contents. Guests are responsible for any damage which occurs during their stay.
-POOL: No glass in the pool area. Pool closes at 9pm.
-INTERNET - No illegal downloads or any other illegal activity.

I live in Cairns and run a small business.
I have previously been an Airbnb guest and have had many years travelling for business and pleasure staying in all types of accomodation. I love welcoming guests who share the same Airbnb values of respect and equality and the good old Aussie spirit of doing the right thing.
I believe it doesn't matter if it's a tree house, a yacht, or a tent in someone's back yard, it's possible to have a 5 star experience in any type of airbnb accomodation.
