Comfortable, light-filled home close to downtown. Perfect for eating in, or visit the great restaurants, coffee shop and/or bakery within our small artists' neighborhood, known locally as the SOFA Arts District. Walkable to the famous Russian River Brewing Company, a movie theater, Julliard Park, and plenty of places to visit!
Two-story 1906 home with plenty of charm. Master bedroom with Queen bed and master bath is downstairs; two additional bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bathroom between are upstairs, one with a Queen bed (the teen room), one with a twin (the kid room). All bedrooms will have some space for your clothing, however, we do live here so please leave our personal items as they are.
Main things to note about the upstairs rooms is that they are 'attic style' rooms, with slanted walls but still spacious - however, the closets are short and not great for hanging long things, FYI. They also do get warmer on hot days; fans will be provided.
We do not have a TV in the house, FYI.
Our back yard is the home of several in-progress projects but allows space for you to relax and enjoy a glass of wine in the fresh air if the weather allows. Depending on the season, find apples, figs, peaches, nectarines and more! Say hi to our five chickens (Neko, Penny, Nickel, Daisy and Harvey Dent), and feel free to feed them your food scraps - they'll love you for it! Help yourself to their fresh eggs if they're being proper hens and laying during your stay.
You will have access to our entire home and all of its amenities during your stay! Before you arrive, we will let you know which closets and drawers are available to you. We do live here, so our personal items will be around - please treat them with respect and leave them as you found them. Thank you!
If you're staying here, that means we are out of town. Yay for vacation! We will try our best to be available to you via the Airbnb app or text. If we anticipate otherwise, we will provide you with a local contact.
Before your trip, however, we are more than happy to answer any questions, provide you with local tips and information, and help you make the best out of your stay here.
This is an urban setting. While we try to make our home as comfy as possible, we do live near downtown and Hwys 101 and 12, so please be aware and anticipate the general noises that come along with those facts. That being said, this is still a family neighborhood, so please be respectful of our neighbors.
- Quiet Hours: 10pm - 8am
- Please try to remove your shoes when you come into the house
- NO SMOKING inside the house; Backyard is okay, if that's your thing
- Please leave the house as you found it; this is our home :-)

Hi! We are Paul and Amanda, and we love all kinds of things - travel, reading, writing, wine, meals with friends, gatherings in the backyard, gardening, animals, and beach days, to name a few.
Between the two of us we have traveled to Hawaii, Mexico, France, South Korea, Australia, and tons of places big and small right here in the US. Our favorite way to travel is to just immerse ourselves in the local culture - we love meeting people from other places and sharing stories!
