To the people who would like to rent my apartment and are worried about Melissa’s comment, please read the thirty 5 stars comments about my apartment to set your mind at rest.
Melissa is right about the noise: workers came to redone all the apartments’ doors in the building and disturbed her at 8:00 am only one morning. I told her how sorry I was and offered her group a nice bottle of wine.
Melissa complained about a dirty conforter. Even if we were a bit surprised as sheets and towels are always cleaned, my cleaning woman came right away to check and clean it. She discovered a huge mess in the apartment: trash everywhere even on the beds, huge spots on the towels and on the sheets (we had to color all of them after her departure), dirty dishes everywhere in the apartment…. 5 big garbage bags were taking out of the apartment! The dirty converter was full of tomato juice!
I sent Melissa a very severe message the day before her departure asking her to clean up her mess before her departure and telling her that:
1) Airbnb is a community of respectful people
2) She had paid for a normal cleaning of 2 hours + cleaned sheets and towels (not for 6 or 7 hours cleaning)
3) She was responsible for her trash and her dirty dishes at least
4) I won’t hesitate to take pictures and send them to Airbnb
My apartment is brand new and is a gem located on the Promenade des Anglais in one of the most beautiful city in the world. I am a super host because I do my best for helping my tenants and providing good services BUT my tenants have to respect the basic hygienic rules for me and for the others people coming to my place.
