If you love to be within a few minutes walk to the city centre and have any number of restaurants, cafes, bars, visitor attractions and shops to discover yet be able to retreat to a peaceful place with lovely views over the Dean bridge and walks by the Water of Leith, our flat is the place for you. Situated 5 minutes walk from the West End of Princes St, on a quiet residential elegant Georigian terrace, you will experience true city living in Edinburgh.
Our flat is a home away from home yet it will give you the experience of Edinburgh New Town and West End living being minutes on foot to the heart of the city.
You will have your own South facing sunny double room with views to lovely back gardens but sharing the kitchen, bathroom and living room with your host.
There will be two weeks from 29th June till 9th July when you will have use of the entire flat except for one bedroom. Please take note that during the festival month of August till 4th September, you will be sharing the flat with your host who will be able to give you lots of local info on what to do and see if needed.
Checking guests into flat and giving any information they would need for their time in Edinburgh before leaving them to their privacy but available to contact anytime during guests' stay.
It is really such a convenient place to stay to get to Edinburgh Castle, the New Town, Old Town, the Usher concert hall and the Lyceum theatre etc that a car is not needed. However, there is metered street parking outside the flat Mon-Sat from (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). However, if you park across Dean Bridge in Belgrave Crescent or Eton Crescent westwards, peripheral parking zone areas are from Mon-Fri till 1730.
On arrival, please press the middle buzzer/bell for "McCulloch".
- Because the neighbours are older retired people, it would be most appreciated if guests enter and leave the flat quietly and do not create too much noise in the flat.
- Also, the carpets in the flat are light coloured and so please do not wear outdoor shoes in the flat.
- Please do not use the washing machine before 9am or after 8pm.
- Please ensure that the front door has closed properly but do not push it as the mechanism just takes a little time to shut and may be damaged if forced.
