The kitchen, living room and dining area are open for maximum entertainment – allowing everyone to participate or give advice! A large kitchen island features glass-top electric burners and stove. There’re oodles of counter space and a dishwasher - making Lulu’s Leap a great place for celebratory meals.
Making the most of every space, each bedroom and sleeping area is interconnected to common areas and generous bathroom. The romantic, vintage claw foot bathtub enjoys views of the redwoods and features an oversized rain shower (with handhled option). The bedrooms each have a queen bed and the sunroom features a twin trundle bed and wall of windows to trees and sky. Luxurious memory foam mattresses with super soft linens lead to sweet dreams.
As much as we like being inside at Lulu’s Leap, we love the back yard! The one-of-a-kind redwood deck with privacy fencing has a built in outdoor shower and large hot tub where you can watch stars through the redwood trees. Ease into the new, high-end hot tub and send yesterday’s stresses away. Alfresco dining is a breeze with a propane BBQ, picnic table and outdoor fireplace.
Downtown Guerneville and its gourmet hot spots are just a couple minutes’ drive, but the community of Rio Nido offers plenty to keep you busy. The Rio Nido Roadhouse is a family-friendly bar and restaurant with live music and - in the summer – a pool and snack stand. The Friends of Rio Nido maintain a tennis court, dog park, pee-wee golf course, kid’s jungle gym/park and access to the beach – all within walking distance of Lulu’s Leap.

Road to Lulu’s: Lulu’s Leap is located 500 feet up a narrow one-lane road. It is a two-way, one-lane curvy hillside road - paved and no special vehicle is required. We provide detailed written driving directions to confirmed guests.
Stairs: There are two sets of stairs to the house: one section from the parking area to the lower yard and another from the lower yard to the front door. It’s approximately two stories of stairs - all are well illuminated.
Fencing: The yard is not fenced.
Proximity to Wineries: Korbel Winery is the closest winery at 1.4 miles and the renowned Russian River wineries of Westside Road are just a few minutes drive.
Nearest River Beach: The nearest river access is .2 mile – though the beach is variable. The house is just a couple minutes drive to local favorites - Sunset and Johnson's Beaches.
Nearest Ocean Beach: The coastal beaches in Jenner are approx. 15 miles.

The Russian River Vacation Homes Guest Passport Program is an ongoing program that gives our guests exclusive discounts directly from local businesses.
Every reservation automatically receives one 'passport' to use at participating businesses in the area.
We are so excited to be able to connect our guests with some of our favorite wineries, restaurants and activities in the area! We hope all these great discounts will prompt our guests to experience all the great things our area has to offer.
Guests will be sent detailed check in instructions and a rental contract once their reservation is confirmed, and our office has received their email and physical mailing addresses. Lulu's Leap has a keyless entry system, and check in is at 4pm. The key code will be sent along with your detailed check in instructions. Our office is open until 5pm each day. We are happy to help in any way we can to make your stay more enjoyable! There is an emergency line available to guests after office hours.

Other great events include Civil War Days, the Bodega Bay Fisherman’s Festival, the Sonoma County Pride Parade, the Russian River Rodeo, and the Old Grove Festival.
In general, night minimums are as follows:
-Two night minimum October to Memorial Day Weekend (holidays have a higher night minimum)
-Three night minimum Memorial Day Weekend through late June, and September -Three to Four night minimum end of June through August, expect week minimum over the July 4th Holiday and the first week of August.
-Major holidays including Thanksgiving, Winter Break and President's Day may have a longer night minimum.
VACATION RENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION PLAN: There is a $49 non-refundable Vacation Rental Damage Protection Plan fee for all reservations, already included in the cleaning fee. In order to activate the vacation rental damage protection plan included in your rental fees, please provide your billing address, phone number, & email address in the note with your reservation. If this is an issue, please contact us before making a reservation.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of people allowed on the property is 6 people total. Exceptions can be made for children under the age of 3 years. In general, up to two additional day-time only guests maybe allowed at no extra cost (until 10pm), as long as Russian River Vacation Homes has given guest prior written approval. This home does not have a permit for parties, large gatherings, or events.
Parking: There is parking for 2 cars parked in tandem in the driveway. Street parking is scarce. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.
-After making a booking and providing their contact information, guests will be sent a contract with our terms in detail to sign and return.
-No same-day reservations past 2pm. Our office closes at 5pm. It should not happen, but in case the system is allowing you to book for same-day arrival and it is after 2pm, please reach out to us before completing your reservation. If it is after 5pm, please do not complete your reservation; no one will be available to process your reservation and prepare for your arrival.
-We adhere to the above night minimums. If your reservation seems to go through for less than the stated night minimums, or if the availability seem too good to be true, be aware that the system may be experiencing an integration issue and your reservation may not be accepted. Again, if you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT: Check in is at 4pm for all of our Homes. Check out for Lulu's Leap is 12:00pm. Guaranteed paid Early Check ins and pre paid late Check outs are sometimes possible during our off-season (October 1st to April 30th), depending on availability.
DOGS: This home is dog friendly, and allows up to 2 dogs. Additional dogs or pets of any other kind are not permitted. Unattended dogs must be crated.
