This light and airy modern family home is perfect balance of easy access to central London and great amenities in the local area. There is plenty of space indoors and outdoors to feel like your home from home in a friendly and green part of London.
This is our family home, but while you're here it's your family home.
The ground floor:
Open plan living and dining area (with folding doors). There is a large sofa bed which folds out into a full double bed with proper mattress which is as comfortable as a bed, unlike normal sofabeds. There's plenty of books and freeview/on demand/pay per view TV to keep you entertained as well as WiFi and Sonos speakers in each room. The dining table is large and comfortably seats 6 people, but we have chairs that can be added to seat 8 without being squashed. The kitchen is modern with washer, dryer, there is also a downstairs toilet. The living space has double doors opening on to a sunny garden with barbecue available and rear access to the garden if you are cycling and want to bring your bikes in.
A super king size bed with drawer and hanging space for your clothes. There is a TV with Chromecast.
This room has bunk beds and a desk/dressing table. There is hanging space and drawers for your clothes.
The 4' double bed in this room is not for the faint hearted! The bed is a ceiling height loft bed in the roof space accessed by a long ladder. This room also has hanging space and drawers for your clothes as well as a corner desk.
If you want to squeeze extra people in just ask. We have a double mattress we can make up for the floor of bedroom 2. We can also supply a travel cot.
The family bathroom with toilet, basin and bath with a rainfall shower.
There is central heating throughout and WiFi.
Guests have use of the whole house. We have cleared plenty of storage space for you but there are our things here too. We're happy for you to use some of our things such as toys, cooking equipment, picnic blankets, books, games, etc but will also indicate some storage that we'd rather you didn't access (e.g. containing family photos or toys our children ask that your children don't play with). The parking outside the house is free after 7pm and at the weekend. There is free parking less than a minute's walk from the house, however if you want to purchase a parking permit let us know as this can be done inexpensively in advance.
Our airbnb manager will be available to pop in if you have any problems, otherwise we'll stay out of your way and let you enjoy your holiday.
We leave a really comprehensive guide to the house, local area and experiencing London as a Londoner to help you get the most out of your stay.
- Please enjoy and respect our home as if it were your own.
Myself and my partner Mike are both born and raised South Londoners. We love making the most of living in one of the most exciting cities in the world with our son and daughter but also traveling the country and the world. We love adventure and are keen campers, skiiers, snorkelers and explorers. We are new to hosting on airbnb and have enjoyed preparing our home so that guests will get the most out of their stay.
