Safe, end-of-street home w/no traffic & ample parking. Your stay will be in a sunny, garden level apt. w/private entrance. New queen bed; private bath; fully stocked kitchen for your needs to cook at home. Organic coffee, tea, & other beverages, along w/ filtered water & various organic breakfast items. Attention to detail & artwork make this studio apt a fun, comfortable & relaxing environment. I live upstairs & I will do my best to assist you in any way to make your stay memorable.
Having lived in this home for many years, I am happy to welcome new friends through Airbnb as a way to share my west side home. I am fortunate to live on a short street which ends at my home.
The apt has Cable TV & Wi-Fi. Warmth in the winter & coolness in the summer. You will enjoy a private patio w/ flowers & garden art, and perhaps some (URL HIDDEN) deer sometimes stroll or take naps in my yard.
I'm flexible w/ check-in/out times, as I know flights and long drives can be challenging. As long as I know your ETA we can work together for your safe arrival.
Designated & safe parking is at the front of my home with a lighted pathway and two sets of steps leading to the garden apt. There is a south alley access, as well, making it convenient for unloading and/or walking to the space.
I will greet you upon arrival and escort you to the apt. I'm available for hints and suggestions as to what to do in the area and questions about amenities. I will also check in periodically, through texting, to see if your needs are being met or if I can assist you with anything. Likewise you are welcome to call or text with any concerns, or needs.
If I'm home, please feel comfortable to knock on my front door if you need anything...or text me. Also, along with filtered drinking water (provided in a jug in the fridge...and refilled upon request), the shower also has filtered water. I do have a cat, but she never goes into the apt, so if you have pet allergens, you are safe. I clean with natural products and use essential oils.
My home, including the garden studio apartment and yard are totally smoke free
I am retired after many years of teaching art. My last 18 years was teaching art at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind. I do my best to live a natural, healthful, spiritual, artistic life: organic foods; gardening; hiking, etc. I love to make a lot of my own skin care products; I enjoy doing my own art work and crafts, and I have a passion for traveling. I love meeting new people and learning from their experiences.
