My home is an attractive modern, comfortable house on the edge of a village and it is surprisingly quiet. There are views of farmland, trees and flocks of birds. The private parking is extremely useful.
There is a park and ride nearby so you don't need to take your car into the busy centre of Bath.
I offer two bedrooms - a double room and a twin room (or a triple and a single) accommodating from one to four people. The room/s have wardrobe space, a kettle, tea and coffee tray, bottled water and a view of the countryside. Bed linen, hand towels and bath towels are provided. Leaflets for resaurants, maps and sightseeing supplied. The large double wardrobe is ideal for all your clothes and luggage for a short or long stay.

Breakfast of croissants, toast, juice, Italian coffee, fairtrade tea, cereals and fruit will set you up for a day visiting Bath, Stonehenge or walking in the countryside.

This is a light, airy, three bed house with an enclosed garden and large decked area overlooked by a large conservatory.

A fine kitchen/breakfast room is the heart of the home. It has a dinner table plus a range cooker, dishwasher and washing machine.
The cosy living room has a huge leather sofa.
The downstairs toilet is useful.
There is an extremely useful parking space directly outside on the driveway. The road nearby (not noisy from the house) gives easy access to Bath and other villages.
There is a fast bus service (£2.70 single) which will take you from the village through stunning countryside to Bath bus station\train station within minutes.
The local shopping a few minutes walk away offers two local supermarkets, a butchers, bakers, doctors, pharmacist, petrol garage, pubs and other amenities.
I am on hand to offer local information about Bath - things to do best cafes and restaurants..
I offer walking tours of Bath, sightseeing itineraries, local country walks, handmade cooked dinner - all at an extra charge.
I will provide breakfast and will do gluten free. I am very happy to chat over breakfast. Happy to show you the local area by foot and take you to a local country pub.
Please note. I have two rooms and it may be that someone is staying in the other bedroom during your stay but you will be informed in advance of this.
I have cats.
Your stay will be surrounded by beautiful stunning countryside - guaranteed. There are some great pubs (Combe Hay, Monkton Combe and Midford) and country walks very near by. The area has many horse fields and there are several riding stables for hacking and riding lessons.
A trip in to Bath is nice. Your room will have leaflets of places for sightseeing and restaurants.
I especially welcome overseas travellers and those wanting a longer stay. I have hosted guests from Canada, France, the USA, Germany, Australia and Italy.

I am an experienced host who lived in Bath for 13 years. Whilst living in Bath I hosted guests from the UK and also many other countries including America, Australia, Canada, Italy, France Germany and Spain.
I enjoy a variety of music from Van Morrison to Bach. I also like jogging, recently jogged the 13 miles of the Bath half, dancing, country walks, films,TV drama, books, baking, teaching English and spending time in the beautiful historic city of Bath.
I lived in London for many years so I know what it is like to want to get away from the fast pace of city life, you won't be disappointed by Bath.
I have a grown up daughter living nearby.
I work in a school so only host when I have the free time.
I am currently doing a massage course for feet, legs and backs at college.
