I Tre Alberi is a nineteenth century refurbished cottage by the sea, in the Eastern (Ionian) coast of Sicily. The Property has three units (The Houses of the Medlar, the Palm, and the Carob Tree).
I Tre Alberi is immersed in a lush Mediterranean garden, with local plants and a citrus orchard. The garden is approx. 2000 square mt (over 20,000 sq feet) and provides a discrete environment to those guests who prize privacy and quiet.
The place is across the road from the beach of Giardini Naxos. Within walking range you can find pebbles, rocks or fine sandy beaches, catering for all tastes. You will be well connected to Airports (Catania is a 40' drive), trains (the train station of Giardini Naxos-Taormina is less than a km away), highways (Giardini Naxos- Taormina Sud exit) and in a perfect spot to enjoy both the seaside, and the volcano Etna, the highest in Europe and the second most active in the world.
I Tre Alberi offers a unique blend, by being both by the beach and secluded. Offers a stunning view from its terraces and the quiet garden. It is a strategic spot for the active traveller who wishes to visit Eastern Sicily, a perfect crib for the lazy dweller who only wants to swim and sunbathe, and a well-placed trampoline for the socialite who wants to enjoy the nightlife in Taormina and Catania.
The House of the Carrob Tree sleeps up to 5 people. It has two double/twin bedrooms and a spacious open space with an extra bed, living room with kitchenette, a bathroom, a terrace and a large garden, shared with the other two units that are part of the property. This unit is only about 70 meters away from the sea.
People with low mobility or that get tired easily may be troubled by the flights of stairs that lead to this unit. We never recorded complaints about this so far, though. This unit is also especially quite and secluded, as compared to the rest of the property as well as to most of the town of Giardini Naxos.
