Set on 5 acres of mainly native bushland, our cottage is a real retreat from the urban rat race. The cottage is well equipped with everything to make your stay enjoyable. We have central hydronic heating but the 2 large open fireplaces are a real feature of the cottage. We are regularly visited by kangaroos, kookaburras and other native wildlife. Fur kids are entirely welcome and we have a secure area with a large kennel if you want to leave them while you explore the delights of Daylesford.
Guests are welcome to access the entire property, excluding the downstairs utility room and sauna which are currently undergoing some renovations.
The main bedroom has a queen size bed whilst the second bedroom is a loft style bedroom with 2 single beds which can be joined to form a very comfortable king sized bed. Access to the 2nd bedroom is via attic type stairs and is on the other side of the house to the main bedroom.
We can be contacted during your visit and there is also a small booklet with details of the cottage and recommendation on things to see and do during your stay.
We have a large dam in close proximity to the house. The dam is not fenced off from the house so please take this into account if you are thinking of bringing young children.
We are a Melbourne-based professional couple who have 2 rescued dogs and love travelling and sport mainly. We enjoy the outdoors which is why we treasure our lifestyle and love sharing what we have.
