Three Oaks Guest Inn was built in 1915. It is a cozy, fully furnished home with all its original oak woodwork, columns, built-ins & open stairway. There are 3 comfortable bedrooms and a foldout couch and a twin bed on the three season porch. The nicely decorated dining and living rooms, and fully furnished, modernized kitchen, make it perfect for either large or small groups...quiet family vacations, small meetings, bridal and baby showers, graduation receptions, birthday parties, girlfriend/scrap-booking/quilting getaways, family reunions, or any other sort of friendly get-togethers . Three Oaks Guest Inn is a true 'home-away-from-home', however, like most 100 year old homes, THE BEDROOMS AND BATHROOM ARE ON THE 2ND FLOOR.
For more information and more photos of the rest of the house, please see the main listing for THREE OAKS GUEST INN.
Guests have access to their own bedroom and the shared bathroom upstairs, and the whole downstairs of the house...a fully furnished kitchen, dining room, living room, basement laundry area, a BBQ grill just out the back door, and the whole yard to wander around in.
We try to be there to greet our guests when they arrive, but if for some reason we can't be there in person, we ask them to call when they arrive so I can give them a 'phone tour'.
Depending on the guests, We may only visit long enough to go thru the basics of where things are, or if they have lots of questions or an interest, we can show them around outdoors, talk about the house's history, the guest's and our own families & backgrounds, were to go and what to see on our town, area, or state, or anything between. We can visit for a few minutes to a few hours, and are only a phone call away to answer any other questions.
If the calendar shows the whole house booked, please check the individual rooms for availability. It may be there is only one of the rooms rented, but that would make it impossible for someone else to rent the 'whole' house.
Our main rule is no smoking indoors. If you smoke outdoors, please pick up your butts!
We prefer no pets, though service animals are OK.
Please leave the place neat when you leave. You don't need to vacuum floors or stuff like that, but, please put your dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I will start it when I get there to clean.
If the trash is full or smelly, please put it in the garbage can outside the back door.
There is a trash can for re-cycling just inside the back door. Acceptable items are listed above it.
We are also available for event rentals at $30 for up to 5 hours. You can bring your own paper plates, etc or use one of our sets of stoneware or china. After an event, you are expected to leave the premises in the condition it was when you arrived, though unwashed dishes in the dishwasher are OK.
Weekly and monthly rates are negotiable, depending on how long you plan to stay and how many people. For stays over a week, if you bring your own towels & bedding, there is also a discount.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call us !

I am married with 3 grown kids, 6 grandkids, and had 2 furbabies who both passed from very old age in the summer of 2105. We adopted a new fur baby in the spring of 2016 whom we are thoroughly enjoying.
I like to read, garden, bake & do crafts. Hubby & I are involved in ham radio, and enjoy woodworking and working on our old houses.
My favorite saying is one I learned in high school.
"Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans".
