Enjoy a private and fully furnished 1BR/1 bath apartment perfect for your Bloomington visit. We are situated just 3 miles south of downtown and IU campus in a serene neighborhood. We are just close enough to downtown to be easy, but far enough to escape for a break. Compared to an expensive hotel, you'll have space, amenities, and convenience! This space is ideal for traveling couples or individuals that are looking for a unique, quiet, and spacious place to stay in beautiful Bloomington!
The apartment is very bright with natural light and offers a dining room with a table and chairs, living room (with futon couch and two chairs), fully furnished kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The bed in the bedroom is tempur-foam which is quite soft, should you prefer a firmer mattress we recommend the futon mattress (sheets available in the living room cabinet). The apartment was added to the house in 1980, and still has the original kitchen decor (we like to call it retro). The bathroom is cozy, but the kitchen sink is also set-up for your convenience to get ready or brush your teeth.
The outdoor space is serene with outdoor seating. You may see one of our many friendly neighbors working in their yards!
The apartment offers a lot more space than a hotel and is in a wonderful family neighborhood. We are just close enough to downtown to be easy (a $10 uber ride) but far enough to escape for a break. If you bring your bike we are a mile from the Bloomington Rail Trail, which is a great ride into town.

Blankets can be found in the living room.

My family and I are thankful to call Bloomington home, and we love to share it with others.
We enjoy traveling, being outside, and exploring new places.
If we aren't trying something new, seeing different sights, or playing somewhere, we are most definitely finding treats to eat!
