My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

This place is all about location. The chalets are seriously a stones throw away from the Dead Sea, so if floating in there is what you're after, this is your place. The chalet itself was spotless, but unfortunately there were no hammocks as the pictures showed. Overall we felt the place lacked some atmosphere. Wifi was available at the reception/restaurant area. We had dinner once at the restaurant, which was OK, but didn't really feel was worth the price (compared to other places we've had food during our stay in Jordan), I'd rather recommend driving up to the Panoramic complex for food! Moreover this is a good place for relaxing & floating in the Dead Sea or doing the trail at the Mujib Reserve.
Chalet Mujib is a special place. The location is magical. The view is splendid and the access to the sea makes you feel very special, as there are only a few guests in the area. However one should know that this place is overpriced if you are expecting facilities and comfort of a 4 to 5 stars hotel. The rooms are very simple, noisy AC, no comfy hamac nor seat on the terrasse of each room. The access to the sea is messy. In fact, the price could only be justified by the location, the view and the little number of rooms available. On the other hand, breakfast was okay and the staff was very friendly. We went 20 min down south by car to get food for diner (very cheap and local, I definitely recommend you to do that if you do not want pay the 14 JOD at night) and we ate it in the dining room at the hotel. Hence Chalet Mujib is an ambivalent place of great but unexploited potential. I do not regret my stay there, cause I have incredible memories, but I would not come back.
What a wonderful place! Mujib Chalets were exactly what I wanted, close to nature and away from the crowds of the resorts further north. The location is great not only for the beach, which is steps from the chalets, but because it is also really close to the Mujib Reserve where you are able to do a water hike through an amazing canyon. Everyone was very kind, respectful, and hospitable. The chalets are simple, but very nice and comfortable. Dinner is available upon request, and very tasty and affordable. I will definitely go back. Shukran!
Normally, I am not a severe reviewer. I can ovelook the flaking paint, the rusty fixtures or a not perfect room cleaning (all of that you can find in this place). Also the lousiest breakfast we got in all our Jordan stay, a poor collection of industrial products and some vegetables. Not a big deal. But really, you can't make people pay 120 euros per night in a cabin that is INFESTED BY COCKROACHES. I have to point out that my girlfriend has a serious phobia for cockroaches, and because of that I'm forced to choose always top-level accommodations to avoid that kind of problem. In this structure, spending 120 euros per night was clearly not a sufficient guarantee. The manager admitted their responsibility, but refused to take any kind of action about it, not to mention a refund. Just to explain that I'm not a whiny moaner in search for an undue refund, but not willing to annoy the readers, I will report the facts under this review. As for the rest, and letting go of the poor breakfast, the cabins are in a good position, the AC is working and you have a wonderful view of the Dead Sea. They also offer you a meager buffet dinner for 14 JD per person, but you have to be there at 20:00 sharp or you risk the other guests to sweep away everything. I suggest you to skip it and instead (if you have a car) to go south some kilometers, you will find a village with many dinner options and excellent street food (there we paid 3,5 JD each for a very good meal including beverages!) But my REAL suggestion is to skip the whole place and to take instead one of the many REALLY top-level hotels on the Dead Sea Shore, cockroaches free, with a good and abundant breakfast and perfect service (in another trip I was at the Dead Sea Spa Hotel and it was 1.000 times worth the price) And now, the COCKROACHES story. We stayed 2 nights. The first night all went well (we went to sleep soon and the day after we were out all day), but the next evening we found and killed a huge cockroach. We called for the concierge, he went and threw the dead cockroach in the WC, explaining that it came from outside. We were not convinced by his explanation, so we thorougly closed all the windows and doors and sealed all the drains with duct tape. Suspecting that the cockroach, due to the position where we found him, was nesting in the door frame between the room and the toilet, we spilled a powerful cockroach poison all around the frame. But nonetheless we tought that one single cockroach could be just plain misfortune. It wasn't. Next morning, there was another dead cockroach near the frame, undoubtedly killed by our poison. We came to the desk and asked to remove the dead cockroach, as well as to speak with...
