Our place is close to the town centre, the university, rail station (40mins to Heathrow) and 5 mins walk to lovely canal paths too!
You’ll love our place because of the cosiness and the location. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). We live in a lovely little cul-de-sac so it is quiet at night even though we live in the centre of town. We are happy to provide hot drinks and cereal in the morning.
Good sized double room with a double bed and great mattress! Even though it is close to town it is very quiet at night.
You will have access to our whole home. We have a lovely little garden out the back which gets the sun on all day long and perfect for BBQ's in the evening. You would be more than welcome to use this space and our BBQ, just let us know!
You are able to cook in our kitchen and use one of the rooms downstairs to relax - please don't feel confined to your room! :)
We also have wifi which we will allow you to use at your leisure!
My husband and I work different hours every week as we are both youth workers. The sooner you let us know your timings for arrival the better we can work around your schedule. I work around an hour away but my husband is 15minute cycle so if in any emergencies he will be able to assist. We can help you out with trains or transport of any kind and suggest days out too. Happy to chat but also leave you to yourself too.
We do have a small dog called Buster who is very friendly. He is very fluffy so we try to sweep as much as possible but if you have an animal allergy we might not be your best bet! Buster will stay in his cage when we are out but when we are around he will potter around the house. If you want to spend time with him during your stay you are more than welcome to!
- We are happy for you to bring your pet if you have a small and friendly dog. We have a small working cocker spaniel who is very friendly and enjoys other dogs. However, please do let us know in advance if you will be bringing a pet.
- We would ask that if you are staying for the day that you are out of the house by 11am and are not back until 6pm. We both work as youth workers and work from home often but also as we work funny hours we sometimes need the house to relax as we are working in the evening. If you want to stay around in the day to relax we are happy for that if you let us know in advance and we can figure out our work schedule.
My husband (Sam) and I live in Reading and together with our lovely cocker spaniel Buster! We are both youth workers so are in an out the house a lot and are very flexible. We love travelling and have used airbnb quite a bit so excited about offering our home too.
