Downe House is in a quiet, family neighborhood. We support diversity; all peace-loving folk are welcome. Walk to restaurants, grocery stores, shops, parks. We're near bus routes, metro stations, Dulles Airport, the W&OD Trail. Nearby Reston Town Center has restaurants & shops. For everyone's safety, you must show proof of full vaccination against covid. Because of covid, we allow only registered guests. When booking, please tell us what brings you to town. Looking forward to meeting you!

The neighborhood is a mix of old and brand new homes on a quiet, no-through street. Easy walk (half-mile) to historic downtown Herndon, where there's a lot happening throughout the year (check out Friday Night Live during summer). We also have a new brew pub and pizzeria. There's a small arts center that hosts open mics on first Fridays.
