This spacious two-story home (220 m2) offers a large open-plan living area that includes two lounges, dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, a barista-style coffee machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a wealth of spices and other ingredients you are welcome to use.
The house has Wifi and internet TV. A powerful fireplace will keep you warm during chilly winter months.
A large set of sliding doors opens up into a peaceful enclosed courtyard with a comfortable outside seating area, braai (barbecue), small herb garden and lawn. A second set of sliding doors opens onto a small veranda at the front of the house, on which you can enjoy your morning coffee with a majestic view onto Table Mountain.
The main bedroom (queen bed, extra length) is situated on the top floor, with spectacular views onto Table Mountain and Lion’s Head. It has a modern en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Next to it is a small (children’s) bedroom with a single bed with a good mattress, comfortable also for an adult. There is a small lounge area on the landing of the top floor, from where you can access a small terrace with chairs – ideal for sundowners with view onto Table Mountain.
The third bedroom (queen bed) is located downstairs, with a double door opening onto the garden. A bathroom with bath and shower is situated right next door. This bedroom has a small work desk.
Our trusted and friendly cleaning lady will clean the house before your arrival and after your departure – at no extra cost. An alarm system and beams in the bottom and top garden areas offer good security.
Our relative, Jessica, will hand over the keys to you and show you all the ins and outs of the house. She will also be on call should you experience any problems during your stay, e.g. in the unlikely event you should need a plumber.
This is a non-smoking house, but you are welcome to smoke in the garden.
