10-sq-m room in an 86-sq-m flat inside a small building from the early 20th century (composed of 2 apartments only).
The room is the only one situated at the third and last level of the house; you will thus have all the privacy and independence you need (staircase inside the flat).
Please note that this room is on the road side and that, even though there is little traffic, one can easily hear cars and passers-by. Therefore, it may not be suitable for people who demand complete silence.
The room is small, to be repainted and simply furnished, but clean and functional: the bed (complimentary sheets) is composed of an authentic Japanese futon mattress made up with coconut fibre (nothing is better to sleep properly) on an adjustable wooden futon structure. A vintage chest of drawers is at your disposal.
In front of the room, you will enjoy a charming office-like space (huge modern desk, brand-new printer) under the glass roof (light guaranteed) with its parquet floor (please note that this space has no heating).
Ideal for romantic weekends, visiting students or scholars, professional stay, conference, business trip…
Smokers are welcome provided they smoke at the window.
Animals are welcome provided they are clean. Thanks for your understanding.
I have tried to be as specific and honest as possible: you have a correct accommodation, for a very little price. Welcome to all!
Of course, you may use the toilets, the bathroom (complimentary towels), the beautiful double living-room with its high ceiling and original cement tiles and the kitchen (microwaves, gas stove, fridge, coffee maker, kettle). You may also use the washing-machine if you stay more than 3 days.
I live with my daughter in this flat. As a globetrotter used to hostels and other house-sharings, I will be happy, if I can, to spend some time with you and give you information in a language or another (I can speak French, English and Spanish). But I am also very busy, independent and respectful: if you need to be quiet, on your own, you will not even notice I am in the same house as you :)

- check-in and check-out times should be discussed according to your timetable and mine
- the washing-machine may be used by guests who stay at least 3 nights
- thank you for leaving the place as clean as you found it on your arrival :)
