Our Durham home, is close to Duke and downtown Durham, and a short drive to Chapel Hill and RTP. There are some fun neighborhood eating and drinking establishments within walking distance. Whether visiting the area for work or play, you will enjoy proximity to the best of Durham; our home offers quiet, comfort, and privacy at the end of your day.
Our mid-century cape cod is ready to be your home while you travel! You can park right out front as the driveway is circular. The guest room is just off the foyer and has a private bathroom. The room has a closet; ironing board, hair dryer, and toiletries are available. Our home is laid back and casual and the guest room is outfitted with super comfy mattresses, and an updated bath with a great shower head and plush towels.
Guests have access to the downstairs portion of the house only. There is NO access to the upstairs; violation of this rule will be reported to Airbnb.
I'm a very social person and am willing to help my guests feel comfortable in any way I can. I generally have tea in the morning, feel free to join me. I am a wine drinker, so if you want to share, I'm up for it. If you just want time alone, I'm game for that too.
I'm still relatively new to the area but I can offer some pointers and insider tips helpful for navigating your time in Durham.
-No access to upstairs

-No sleep walking
-No excessive drinking
-No blocking the carport
-DO NOT drive on the grass
-Do not wipe foundation or other makeup off with the towels/washcloths; use makeup remover cloths before using the towels/washcloths
-Do not lean or put all of your weight on the bathroom sink
-Quiet time between 10pm and 6:30am
