Beautifully restored Antebellum home one mile from downtown Camden. Our home is off Interstate 20, close to Columbia, the State Capitol of South Carolina. You’ll love our home because of it's Southern charm and our warm hospitality. Visit the local Farmers Market and Antique Shops. Home of the annual Carolina Blues Festival, Colonial and Carolina Cup Races, Revolutionary War Field Days and the Holiday Candlelight Tour of Historic Homes.
The Pink Room has two twin beds and plenty of space. It shares the bathroom, with a shower and claw foot tub, with the Lavender Room, which has a queen bed. A perfect arrangement for families with children or friends traveling together. At your request, we are happy to block the Lavender Room during your stay so the bath can be exclusively yours.
Guests have access to an upstairs sitting room, kitchen, front porch and pool. Parking located at the top of the drive.
Anthony is "retired" from full time work and keeps busy with woodworking, playing tennis, managing the annual local library book sale and singing in church and community choirs. Judith is a classical ballet instructor and teaches private lessons in her beautiful studio above the garage. She also sings in the choirs and dances hula for enjoyment. We will make every effort to assure your stay at Gander Hill is enjoyable.

I am originally from Southern California and relocated to Camden, South Carolina when my husband Anthony retired 10 years ago. I was born to be a Southern Belle! I am a classical ballet teacher of over 50 years and my passion is sharing the beauty of the Cecchetti Method of classical ballet with students of all ages. I love BALLET, traveling, reading, dancing Ballroom and Hula, Broadway musicals, ALL kinds of food, RED wine and Diet Dr. Pepper! Favorite book and movie??? Gone With The Wind! I am easy to get along with and easy to please. Life motto??? "Suit Up, Show Up, and Get The Job Done!
