Note: only large bedroom available at moment - the smaller one locked for storage. Our home offers two bedrooms and bathrooms, a stunning deck and two lounges. It is your springboard to exploring the beautiful Cape Peninsula, or offers a tranquil space to relax in, have a sundowner and dinner on the deck, and enjoy the spectacular views of the city, bay and mountains. Cafes, a restaurant, a supermarket and the mountain are a short walk away, and the city beyond is not much further away.
You will be occupying the main unit of a triple-story house and which spans two stories. There are some permanent tenants (one next door and one in the story below), but everyone is entirely private.
Access is via the front gate. This unit does not come with a garden.
I typically won't be available on the property, but am most times available by phone, SMS or email if there are problems to be resolved. Over Xmas / New Year, I might be away, but one of the tenants or the neighbours, who are friends of mine, can assist if there is anything urgent.
House cleaning: This is included in the price and takes place once or twice a week, depending on public holidays.
Fairly fast ADSL Internet is included. There is no TV.
Recycling and composting are available to minimise waste-to-landfill.
- The apartment is the main part of a large double-story house, which contains four living units in total. Each unit has a separate entrance and is completely private. When coming home late at night, guests are requested to be quiet while walking in.

I've walked a windy road from initially working in the corporate, internet and venture capital sectors, to now working in sustainability and with human values to motivate societal change.
I live with my partner Jane and our little dog Lonsie, and when I am not working I can be found hiking, rock climbing, reading, or enjoying the company of friends over a good meal and some tasty wine.
Over the years I have traveled widely and have at one time or another set foot on all seven continents, but I always happily return home to our lovely mother city Cape Town.
One of my favourite mottos I try live by is this one from Dr Suess: “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.”
