Charming one-bedroom apartment off Broadway near the Pearl. Easy access to everything downtown has to offer including the Alamo and the Riverwalk. Walking distance from beautiful Brackenridge Park and just minutes from the Zoo and the Botanical Gardens.
This is an older house in an older neighborhood. This area of San Antonio has only just begun going thru gentrification and there is a wide cross-section of people that live in the area. I don't have central air conditioning, but there are 2 window-unit air conditioners. The kitchen has a gas oven and some people have complained about the faint smell of gas that comes from it. The shared stairwell in the front of the house is unlit. I use the flashlight on my phone when I use the stairwell at night. The driveway leads to parking behind the house and there is a metal staircase with lighting that leads to the back entrance. My home is not the ritz carlton. My home has modest amenities. It is comfortable and clean. There are plenty of windows with plenty of natural sunlight. I'm walking distance from brackenridge park and the zoo. The Pearl and hotel emma, the municipal golf course, the witte museum and the botanical gardens are a few blocks away. The Alamo and the riverwalk are about a 6 minute car ride. The convention center is about a 7 minute drive. My favorite mode of transportation when I am enjoying a downtown experience is thru Uber. My fares are always $5-7 and most of the time it is cheaper and easier than trying to park downtown. Looking for a good bar scene? There is a strip of cool spots for the younger crowd, with live music on n st. Mary's street (4 minutes away). Folks in their 30s can enjoy good food/drinks/atmosphere in Southtown (8-10 minute drive). I love living here and I have done my best to create a peaceful environment that is perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.
Relax. Don't steal or break anything. Please no pets.
