PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF YOUR NEIGHBORS AND THE NATURAL SURROUNDINGS OF LAKE TAHOE & WE WILL ALL HAVE A GREAT TIME.
The following behaviors are considered nuisances, and/or violations of the Lake
Ta hoe Vacation Rental Ordinance. Participation in ANY of the following WILL result in the immediate eviction of your party, forfeiture of all funds paid and possible action and/or fines by the City of South Lake Tahoe Police Department or The El Dorado County Sheriff's Department.
EXCESSIVE NOISE- Loud music or other disturbances including but not limited to:
- Yelling, shouting, chanting, and loud conversations.
- Late or early hour disturbances.
- Outdoor or backyard disturbances involving excessive noise.11
- Hot tub groups that carry on noisy or loud conversations.
- Whistling, hooting, or singing.
- Operating stereos loudly.
(10:00 PM TO 8:00 AM ARE CONSIDERED "QUIET HOURS")
At NO TIME shall tenant occupancy in your property exceed the maximum number that the property was contracted for.
- Parking on any lawn or in any yard.
- Parking in or blocking the neighboring driveway.
- Parking on the wrong side of the street.
- Exceeding maximum number of allotted parking spaces allowed
GARBAGE VIOLATIONS -
DO NOT LEAVE ANY FOOD OR GARBAGE OUTSIDE OF UNIT AS IT WILL ATTRACT WILDLIFE. ALL TRASH MUST BE PUT INTO THE TRASH CANS OR BLUE RECYCLE BAG AND PLACED INSIDE THE BINS IN THE BEAR-BOX BY THE DRIVEWAY (WHEN PROVIDED). DO NOT KEEP TRASH INSIDE GARAGE IF YOU USE OUTSIDE COOKING FACILITIES CLEAN UP ALL TRACES OF FOOD AFTER EACH USE.
Maid and Linen Services - Our housekeeping service will provide 1 set of towels per person that occupancy allows. There will be a clean set of sheets and pillow cases for each bed in the unit for your stay. We suggest that you bring your own beach towels during the summer, and some extra blankets during the winter. A maid will do a full clean after your departure; it is your responsibility to clean the unit during your stay. Excessive cleaning will be taken out of your security deposit.
Unit and Equipment -If anything in the property doesn't work or there is anything you are unhappy with contact out office immediately. If anything is missing or broken during your stay the cost will be charged against your security deposit. We do not supply firewood or charcoal briquettes, but both can be bought prior to your arrival or you can go to many local stores to purchase them. Some units have gas logs, so please check the unit before buying firewood. All units are equipped with heaters as well so fireplace use is not the only source of heat.
Pets - Some of our units allow pets, and pet fees do apply. Please let the reservationist know if you plan on bringing any pets. If you bring a pet to a unit without informing Tahoe Rental Connection Inc. first, your security deposit will be forfeited.
Smoking - all units are non-smoking. If evidence of smoking in units is found your security deposit will be forfeited.
Winter Reservations -Always carry chains and allow extra driving time for snow and icy conditions. It is a good idea to carry flashlights, blankets, adequate clothing and snacks for the drive in case of road closures. DO NOT PARK ON THE STREETS DURING THE WINTER MONTHS to allow for snow removal. Failure to comply with this will result in your vehicle being towed at your expense.
NO REFUNDS will be given due to weather conditions or road closures. Adjustments may be made at the discretion of Tahoe Rental Connection Inc... California Road Conditions - l-(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
Tahoe Keys Guest Pass - If you are staying at one of our Tahoe Keys properties you can use their facilities by obtaining a guest pass. You can get a pass from the Tahoe Keys Homeowner Association located at the end of Ala Wai Blvd by paying a small fee for any person over 11 years old.
Emergencies - We have a 24 Hour answering service for EMERGENCIES ONLY! If you have an emergency please call ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Do not call the 800 number for emergencies, only the local number is answered after hours. Tahoe Rental Connection Inc. reserves the right to transfer your group to a comparable unit to remedy conditions beyond its control with no prior notice, if necessary.
Extras You May Want to Bring - Kleenex, paper towels, extra toilet paper shampoo extra towels (especially it your unit doesn't have a washer & dryer), laundry soap, favorite cooking dishes or utensils, and any other items that would help make your stay more enjoyable
LOCKED-OUT POLICY: Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm, except holidays. If you lock yourself out or lose your keys after office hours it is your responsibility to call & pay a locksmith for entry. NO EXCEPTIONS. Call Best Locksmith (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Keys are to be picked up at our office before 5 pm UNLESS YOU HAVE MADE OTHER PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS, KEYS WILL NOT BE GIVEN OUT IF CONTRACT IS NOT SIGNED AND PAID IN FULL!
PLEASE REPORT ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE UNIT TO OUR OFFICE IMMEDIATELY. WE CANNOT HELP YOU IF YOU WAIT UNTIL CHECKING OUT! Any household appliance and equipment malfunctions reported will be handled as quickly and professionally as possible during normal business hours. There will be no refunds or adjustments made for such malfunctions. Additionally, Tahoe Rental Connection Inc. shall not be responsible for any loss, expense, damages, claims or injury direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise caused by reason of military actions, acts of God, or by any agents, employees, subcontractors, servants or services as provided or substituted. Tahoe Rental Connection Inc. at all times will act in good faith and use its best efforts to substitute with accommodations or services of a type comparable to those contracted. Tahoe Rental Connection Inc. in their sole and unfettered discretion reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any person(s) and/or to rescind any contract for accommodations or guest services. Tahoe Rental Connection Inc. will not be liable under any circumstances, including substitutions, to refund any unused portion of booked accommodations or services. Tahoe Rental Connection Inc. is not responsible for valuables left in rental properties.
SUBJECT TO CHANGE: Advertised amenities are subject to change without notice or compensation. Changes can occur after a reservation is made as a result of sale of unit, remodeling, mechanical failure or servicing. Should a property be made unavailable for any reason beyond the control of Agent, Agent may substitute another like or better property. If no other property is available the limit of liability by property Owner, Tahoe Rental Connection Inc. or its Owners, is to refund any pre-paid rents that have been paid by the registered Guest. Customer understands that the owner of this rental retains the right to sell their rental or change management companies at any time. In the event the vacation accommodation is sold by the owner or transferred into a new management regime, Tahoe Rental Connection Inc., acting as an intermediary between you and the Owner, will use its best efforts to provide a substitute vacation accommodation of equal or greater value, up to 100% of the value of the original agreement. If Tahoe Rental Connection Inc. is unable to find such accommodations, then at Tahoe Rental Connection Inc.'s or customer's option this Agreement shall be cancelled and terminated and Tahoe Rental Connection Inc., acting as an intermediary between you and the Owner shall refund to customer all payments made by customer under this Agreement, and Tahoe Rental Connection Inc. and customer shall thereafter not have any liabilities or obligations to the other arising out of the unavailability of the rental property and/or customer's travel arrangements.
NON-LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION OF OWNER AND AGENT: Guest agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Owner and Agent from any and all costs, expenses, legal proceedings, legal fees, suits, claims, or demands, whether from loss of life or injury to Guest and/or invitees of Guest, unless same was due solely to the willful act or gross negligence of the Owner or Agent.
Tenant waives any rights they may have to disclaim any sum charged to any credit card. TRC reserves the right to transfer and/or substitute tenant to comparable unit if necessary without notice prior to arrival.
I/We have read the foregoing and agree to abide by the terms of this contract and the policies of TAHOE RENTAL CONNECTION INC.. The prevailing party in any action or proceeding arising from this agreement shall be entitled to reasonable attorney fees in addition to any other costs and relief that may be granted.
