18th Century villa with private pool will fascinate you and drag you back in time to offer you the unique experience of living in an enchanted Sicilian aristocratic past. Precious and authentic features combine with the most modern comforts. Here, between a dip in the pool, an outdoor dining surrounded by the pleasant scent of the various Mediterranean plants, Sicily shows its true colours.
The villa consists of three units. The main one, which is characterized by high ceilings and original 18th century floors, has two double bedrooms, one bedroom with two single beds and two bathrooms with bidet and toilet, one with a shower and another with a bathtub. The kitchen leads to a lovely shady terrace with a table and chairs.
The two subunits are two detached dependence. Each of them has a living room with a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, and a mezzanine with a double bed and two single beds. Several other equipped terraces complete the building enriching its enchanted atmosphere with the views of rolling hills and the sea. Finally, a barbecue and a private swimming pool are at guests’ disposal.
Thanks to its thick walls and high ceiling Baglio San Filippo keeps itself cool during summer. The two dependance and one of the bedrooms in the main building have air-conditioning.
The pool (6x12 m. 2.40 m.) deserves an extra mention for it is entirely surrounded by several Mediterranean plants, including many palm trees and colourful and enjoyably fragrant flowers, and for it can be lighted at night. Whereas during the day, this pool offers refreshing and relaxing moments, in the evening it will be the perfect setting for unforgettable moments.

I am from Italy and I discovered the charm of traveling since I was 14 years old. I lived in Edinburgh, Helsinki, Sint Maarten and now in Utrecht. I never want to stop traveling, but if there is a place where I would always like to come back... that's Sicily. My profile picture introduces you to 'Stromboli', my little monster with four paws, my dearest creature and untiring travel companion.
