Elegant, renovated 50sqm (538sqf) 1st-top floor apartment offering a breathtaking view to the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill from its private rooftop terrace. My place is located in Thissio one of the most historic neighborhoods of Athens, 50m close to "Pnyx Hill", one of the earliest and most important sites in the creation of democracy. The National Observatory of Athens, Acropolis of Athens, Acropolis Museum, Philopappos Monument, Ancient Agora and more are all within walking distance.
Although a beginner airbnb host, already a "superhost". My place is a beautiful apartment which can host 3 people. It constists of one master bedroom with a spacious closet and a double bed, a small bedroom with a single bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a big living room - dining room with stereo music/cd player and a bathroom inluding all the amenities.
Both bedrooms have wooden floor while kitchen, dining area and living room have granite tiles floor (see relevant photos).
The whole house is fully air-conditioned. There are two independent air condition units (one for the master bedroom and one for the living and dining room) which can keep you cool or warm any season. Fast wireless internet (Wi Fi) access for your notebook, your tablet or your smartphone is available to all rooms.
There are also two small balconies where you can enjoy your coffee or breakfast.
The location is amazing, the living room is eastern, so there is plenty of light all day.
The highlight of the apartment is the private rooftop terrace with a stunning view to the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill, equipped with candle, table and chairs.
Staying with me is not only about the home, it is also about the total experience.

In the mornings I work, but do not hesitate to conduct me on mobile or via email for any question you may have. In the afternoons I am at home, in the same building, so I can assist you if you need help. I will be available 7 days a week / 24 hours a day for anything you may need such as sightseeing or good restaurant advice, making your stay easier and pleasant.
Other interesting, nearby areas which can also be reached easily on foot are:
Psiri : There are plenty of Greek taverns offering live nights with traditional Greek music and other happenings. Been the original area of craftsmen and artisans for decates, it is now also a known meeting point for artists and antiquers since there are plenty of theaters as well as several art galleries in the area.
Monastiraki: The area is home to different shops ranging from clothing and apparel boutiques to souvenirs and antiques and is a major tourist attraction for money-for-value shopping.
Plaka: The Plaka is under the Acropolis and stretches almost to Syntagma. It is full of street musicians, flower sellers, photographers and people who sell beads or will write your name on a grain of rice. Anafiotika is the cluster of small houses built on the slopes of the Acropolis above the Plaka. It's like being on a Greek Island. It's named Anafiotika because the original inhabitants were stone masons who came from the island of Anafi to build Athens in the mid 19th century.

If there is a Greek word that everyone should know it is the word "philoxenia" literally translated as "friend to a stranger" but a lot deaper than that. In ancient Greece hospitality was a value ranking high on the list of virtues-there was great respect and honor bestowed from host to guest.
Philoxenia today is a generosity of spirit, a joyful kind of the best-of-what's-mine-is-yours attitude in which Greeks take pride as a defining attribute.
Philoxenia for me is as simple as a smile, or opening my home to guests making them feel like if it were theirs.
