Located in the Kasbah, within walking distance of the main square, Jemaa El Fna, and some of the King‘s palaces, thus our neighborhood is a very safe and peaceful area. Along the walls of the Royal Properties many storks are nesting. Just like people, storks have the same motivation when heading to Morocco: find warmer temperature and a great place to enjoy life. Therefore, we named our hotel after them taking the ancient Arabic word for stork: HEKLEK.
10 walking minutes from Jemaa El Fna, in the safe and calm Kasbah. Inside, we have 6 rooms - each one represents a different region of Morocco - and a waterfall...
Our guests have access to the inner patio where we offer the possibility to eat, drink and have a chat while enjoying the view of our water-wall.
Full Access to the so-called communeaty room with both living and eating room. It features a small library, a chimney and offers the possibility to have small meetings for groups.
Youssef: "I am responsible for the property's day-to-day management. I have a strong tourism background and worked more than 15 years as a guide all around Morocco. In my spare time I love learning languages online, the only exception being German as I went to language school in Switzerland. My friends say I am great at connecting our guests to the local people, as I speak Berber, Arabic, French, German and English."
