My Apartment is as central as can be. Train station both to Copenhagen and up coast, Ferry to Sweden, Restaurants and Coffee shops are all within 300 meters. Music venues and bars are likewise just around the corner. Beach and the forest is 10-15 minutes away on foot. You will probably like my apartment for its cosy atmosphere and the central position that gives You optimal possibilities to visit and transport yourself to almost every interesting site around.
The apartment is privately owned by me and I live here.
Its on the first floor. With a small hall, with leads to the door to the bathroom. The Kitchen and living room is in open connetion. There are 3 windows facing to the south. The fireplace/stove is in the middle of the back wall in the living room.
The Double bed is up the stairs to the quite large loft that has built in closet in the back.
The house, which is from 1770, is situated in Strandgade meaning (Coast-street) because the coastline used to be rigth here. Strandgade is one of the oldest streets in Helsingør, some houses are from the 15 hundreds.
In older times this house was a pub called Kronborg, which according to some was a loud place that had a horehouse upstairs.
The apartment living room windows point out towards a narrow street, paved with cobblestone - only for pedestrians. It leads up the 50 meters to the main street; Stengade (Stonestreet), also only for pedestrians. Many of the streets in the old center are not for cars. In Stengade several restaurants, coffeshops, bakerys, shops etc meets You.
The apartment is warm and dry and has a cosy feel to it. It is simple living in the midle of this beautiful old City.
The backyard is cosy with table and chairs for relaxing.
The entire flat is available.
This housing is without cleaning, so I expect that You leave the apartment as it was when You came. There is cleaning tools under the kitchen sink. The vacuum cleaner is upstairs.
No Smoking inside the flat.
