Our space is in a great neighborhood, walking distance to 2 Bart stations and close to many restaurants, Chez Panisse, Peet's Coffee & Tea, Cheese Board Pizza, Saul's Restaurant & Deli, and Monterey Market. We live in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, in a good location, spacious room with a comfy bed, the high ceilings and desk. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers who are dog people and queer friendly.
I am happy to give tips on how to get around or find the best restaurants while you're visiting.
The room is close to the living room and kitchen and the kitchen is not included in the room aside from tea and water etc. If you need refrigerator space or access to the kitchen please let me know ahead of time.
Guest must be Ok with living in a household with pets and other people. It is a big house with 3 other housemates. We are artists, activists who are friendly and respectful and enjoy sharing our space and meeting interesting people.
The kitchen is not included in the price of the room but if one needs kitchen accommodations we can be flexible and make arrangements.

I am originally from New York but happy to call the Bay Area home.
I have three grown children, one off to college, one up in Northern CA and the middle child living at home and working in the Bay Area. I graduated from Lewis and Clark College where I studied photography and recently finished a masters in fine arts degree at California College of Art where I studies social practices. I am a freelance cinematographer and editor who loves to follow the multitude of political movements in the streets. I am interested in independent film and alternative media. I love to explore new places and always up for an adventure. Hosting people exposes me to new and interesting people all the time and is one of the perks of being an Airbnb host.
