This hotel is in a great location (very close to the Mong Kok MTR stop and very easy to get to from the airport). There is plenty of great food within walking distance and it's very short MTR ride to Central. Joey and the rest of the people running the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to contact me several times before my flight arrived. She wanted to make sure that I knew how to get there from the airport, what time I would be able to drop my bags off, etc. If you are staying there and have any problems, I am sure they will do their very best to help you.
The room I stated in was one of the smaller single rooms, and it was small. The bed takes up most of the room, and the bathroom also does not have much space. However, Hong Kong is one of the most crowded cities I've ever seen, so I wasn't expecting anything too spacious. Joey even warned me beforehand that it was one of the smaller rooms. She wanted to make sure that I would be okay with that, which was very nice of her. I was just looking for a place to sleep, shower, store my luggage, and charge my phone, so it didn't bother me at all. This was my first time in Hong Kong, but from what I have heard, most hotel rooms are on the smaller side anyway.
The wifi worked great and was very useful. I believe there is also a laundromat downstairs, although I didn't use it while I was there.
Although this was not the hotel's fault, the only negative issue I had was that some of the other guests were quite loud. Because I was in the first room in the hallway, they woke me up more than once coming and going. If you are staying here, you might want to prepare by bringing some earplugs or a white noise machine. I used a white noise app on my phone and it made a big difference. Again, not the hotels's fault but something to be aware of. I think this is also just part of staying in a really crowded city where there's not a lot of elbow room.
All in all, I had a great trip. I'd definitely recommend this place for someone who wants to stay in a great location for a reasonable price. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. If you decide that you really need a lot of space or a lot of quiet, then maybe you should consider paying more for a fancier place in a more upscale neighborhood. But it suited my needs perfectly, and I loved the location. I would definitely recommend Hong Kong hotel to my friends.
