This place is beautiful, relaxing, and clean! I loved lounging in the hammocks, biking around the area, meeting baby Hoa, and pretending the provided mosquito net over my bed was a canopy. The immediate surroundings are lush and secluded, but a lot of people live in the area and there's food and shops even closer than the city of Ben Tre. Also really appreciated the fridge stocked with beer and water.
One thing to be aware of: the place is quite difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area. This wasn't an issue on arrival because Phu Si sent a xe om to pick me up at the bus station, but when I biked around and had to find my way back, I relied on neighbors to help me with the last few steps. So if you want to spend any time in Ben Tre after dark, keep in mind that biking/walking back here would be a feat. Not sure there's that much to do in town at night anyway.
